carpet ok - installation process was a nightmare that stretched over 4 months

The carpet is as-expected. The order took 3 extra weeks to deliver as it was "lost" in transit to the warehouse. It was also not rolled properly, so there is now a permanent pucker in the backing which telegraphs through to the top.

Was extremely happy with the service I received in the store as well as excellent install. Just a slight issue with a glue spill on rug….but overall was very happy!! The glue spill was addressed in a very timely manner…..Home Depot keep up the good work…Also was nice as I walked in store was asked if I needed help…Nice!!

First delivery cancelled at the minute. The cut on the rug looks like it was made with a dull bread knife. Overall experience was poor. Will not use Home Depot again for this type of purchase. I am sure the poor rating will apply to the lack of response to my survey comments, so why ask !

Even though I had to wait 3 weeks for an installation date, I am extremely satisfied with the professional way the installers did their job.

Carpet and installation was great - ordering and measurement from Home Depot was not acceptable- 3 x Carpet ordered without our authorization- someone came to measure but we ended up with 3x the amount of Carpet need for area we wanted carpeted... no satisfaction. Was told nothing could be done to compensate.

The carpet is great but the installation not good. There are waves in it and we are still waiting on the installers to repair it.

It looks nice. The carpet looks like it will hold up well. It will be exposed to some rain since it is on my outside bedroom porch. I think it will be fine. I am pleased.

The carpet was excellent and the installation was just beautiful. The installers did a fabulous job. I am very pleased with the whole process from start to finish.

I was replacing a Home Depot carpet, 631-993-12 Jakarta Morocco that I had nearly 10 years, and was still in very good shape except for some damage due to weather. Home depot did not have that carpet any longer, nor any outdoor carpet anywhere near its thickness. The Traffic Master Burana was much thinner and consequently did not cover the imperfections in my concrete patio. Home Depot was the only local store that sold and installed outdoor carpeting and I was so satisfied with the previous purchase, I thought I would be safe with this one. The installers, when they removed the old carpet, told me there might be a problem due to difference in thickness of the new carpet. Not wanting to leave the bare patio while I investigated any other possible options, I "bit the bullet" and told them to go ahead and put the new carpet down. The carpet was not as "plush" but I expected that; however I was very disappointed about the degree to which it showed the imperfections in my patio, especially since I explained at time of purchase that it was for a concrete patio.
