This is my second house I have used this carpet in. I love the multi color look. It's great to lay on top of VCT which I have in my house. The rubber backing make them super durable. Every once in a while I would find a tile I didn't like and I would either use it as a filler of under furniture so I didn't see it. I'm very pleased with this product the many times I have used it. The only thing that has changed since the first home I used them in 2013 is not all the tiles are rubber backed. I got a few felt back ones which I couldn't use (too slippery on VCT floors) so there was a bit of wasted money on them but other then that they are extremely great quality for the cost!! I highly recommend them for playrooms, basements, living rooms, and really any area you want to be able to quickly pick it up and change the look. I will continue to use this rug in all areas of my house. My whole house is done with carpet tiles and it was the best investment.

We put this in our basement it looks amazing. We put it in and it was so easy to cut and tape down with one person. We had it in not even 1 week before my daughter took over with all her toys downstairs because of the carpet we finally can enjoy the space and it was less time and money doing it our self.

Took 5.5 hours to install 520sq ft. Take a few breaks an pics of your progression. Have not seen much traffic yet so I can t comment on longevity or durability. Vacuums good. Looks great. Had a lot of positive comments. Take your time use a good razor knife and extra blades a straight edge an a sharpie. Order an extra box in case you mess up cutting or need to replace a square for any reason. Not much padding on there but much better than bare concrete. I walk barefoot on it a lot. Also a cheap alternative compared to other types of flooring, this was for my entertainment room in my basement

The carpet squares are not exactly the same mix as shown in the picture, but it is a good example. Mine were all Grey's and blacks (out of 3 cases purchased), with 3 blue, 3 gold patterned and 2 yellow toned patterns. Very inexpensive way to dress up a room without spending a fortune. Good quality and easy to install.

After Hurricane Harvey pushed groundwater up through the slab in our sunken living room, we tore out the wet wall-to-wall carpet and lived with crumbly bare concrete for 3 months. I finally got fed up with the echo and dust and grit and discovered this product as a great cost-effective stopgap floor covering (8 months and counting) until we get the living room filled in and new wall-to-wall installed. I used 13 boxes for about 500 square feet (plus some short sidewalls) and got a great variety of stuff, but opening several of the boxes before starting was good to ensure good color distribution. 3 or 4 pieces in the whole bunch (all separate boxes) had a weird super-scratchy texture, and I didn't use them. Another 5 pieces in the whole bunch (all separate boxes) were a textured felt material, so I used those in the small wet-bar that's also in the sunken area (replacing the wet parquet wood), and made a cool pattern. It's definitely thin carpet, and there are slight thickness differences from tile to tile, but it's not problematic with a dry fit first. A few tiles were obviously irregulars, but that was usually just a glitch in the weave, and I was able to use the worse ones on edges where I could cut off the irregular part. It kind of looks cool overall, and is so much better than the bare concrete. The 5 tiny pieces of double-sided carpet tape per square don't always stick well, so I made good use of a roll of the (insanely-sticky) double-sided carpet tape they sell on a nearby shelf for select spots, sidewalls, and securing stair treads really well. I used a framing square and a sturdy utility knife to make cuts. I'm sure there's going to be mold on the rubber backings that are on most of the tiles when I pull them up for the foundation work, because I can smell it when I lay on the floor, but this was cheap enough to be basically disposable, and that's why we're filling in the low floor.

          DIFFERENT BUT I LIKE THEM
I have old paneling basment walls and wanted to do something with the area. I was on a budget and was sceptical about all the different colors, but it turned out great! The tiles were very easy to put down. Some of the tiles were thicker than others, but i made it work.

I used 3 boxes of the tiles in my basement. My basement is a concrete floor with a few imperfections. After reading many reviews, I purchased 2 rolls of double stick carpet tape to add strength to the squares. The majority of the tiles are subtle browns and grays with a few blues thrown in. The thickness of the tiles are pretty consistent. I needed to cut a tile around a circular column. I picked a random tile to use. I should have gone through the box to find one of the thinner tiles to ease the cutting process. Make sure to clean the floor thoroughly before beginning. Lay the tiles out without taping to get a feel of the pattern. I would be happy to purchase again.

I moved and rented an apartment which has tile floors. While I love the look and ease of cleaning, they aren't as friendly for my dogs who would go slipping and sliding and couldn't play like they use to on carpet. I looked for ways to cover the surface of the tile without breaking any of the rules of my lease, cost too much, or damage the tile. Came across this option during my search. I didn't even know these existed. Since my decor style is a bit monotone and subdued, I thought that the assorted commercial option would interject some flair into the room (and be the cheapest option). I love the finished look. I didn't get any bold colors - mostly grays and a few browns, and an occasional blue. I kept the colors together as much as I could, which worked well as I had all of those hues in my living room. Three boxes were enough to cover most of my living room and create a "runner" down one of the hallways. The dogs are happy and so am I.

I bought 10 boxes of the 24 inch × 24 inch carpet tiles and put them down in my patio room-actually enjoyed installing them and it made my patio room beautiful. It was the perfect choice and I love looking at my new and upgraded patio room!

I bought 4 cases of these tiles in store to use on my front porch which I had just screened in (using materials bought from Home Depot of course). They were very easy to put down and seem to be sticking well on the wood. They have adhesive on the four corners and one spot in the middle. I did have to trim along the house side and around the porch posts which was easy to do using a utility knife. While you don't get to choose color or pattern the variety they come in works well. Looks great! They've been out there about a month and a half or so now and still sticking even in the heat. Also when it rains hard and is windy they have gotten just a touch damp around the edge in a few spots, but dry quick and still sticking. So many people have told me they love the look and some say they might be doing it on their own porches :)

Great product to work with, ordered 32 boxes with 40 square ft. each. Bought on line and was delivered FREE so that I did NOT have to load same in my vehicle from store. Basically all you do is peel and stick , worked well on the concrete floor in my basement. Very easy to put down. Both myself and my wife are seniors ( close to 70 ), I peeled and she dropped it in place. The only recommendation I would make is that you purchase the razor knife they sell with it since the razor blade is longer than a standard razor knife and easier to cut the carpet tile. Very Pleased with outcome.

I installed these in my basement after a minor flooding issue which caused me to remove all the carpet and padding. I wanted an option to only have to replace the tiles which may be effected in the event this type of flood were to ever happen again rather than replacing the entire carpet. They are easy to install and look great when completed. Make sure your floor is level and scrape off all glue residue from where the carpet padding was glued down, next pull all carpet tack strips and clean, clean, clean, then clean some more... you want the floor as clean as possible before you start so the adhesive will stick. I used 5 rolls of double sided carpet tape mainly around the edges and doorways where I expect more traffic. One item to caution about, I had several pieces that did not have the rubber backing on them which appeared to be a manufacturing problem, I took them back to Home Depot and they replaced no problem but I did check each box before I left with the replacements...

I love these tiles and how easily they are to handle and work with. I installed 4 boxes in a garage that was converted to living space decades ago and they came out beautifully. My only complaint is the lack of adhesive on the tiles. I mistakenly assumed that for commercial quality flooring, they would come with more than 5 little pieces of tape.

We installed the this carpet tile 6 months ago and we have no regrets. We installed it on the basement floor 13' x 26'. We used 18 boxes with some tiles left over. The underside of tile has 5 pieces of double sided tape. One piece on each corner and one in the middle. I knew I was going to cut some tiles along with it's tape, so I purchased a roll of double sided carpet tape. I adhered this tape to each corner and edge facing the wall. I measured the floor and started in the middle and worked my way out and down. I saved the cut pieces for the edges to work on the following day. I had the help of my wife and son. I peeled the protective film off each tile and tossed them to my help. It took us about 40 minutes to lay down the tile minus the cut tiles. That took me about 2 hours to cut and place with the help of my wife. The carpet tile looks great and have no regrets with the purchase.

As you can see from the picture, the patterns of the tiles are not as wide in variety as in the advertisement. But overall, it was easy to put down. We may need more backing tape, as we have several kids under 10 who love to run around and may stop and slide these from side to side. Four stars, because I would've liked to have a little wider tape and would have liked to have not had such a variance with one particular patterns pile difference.

I put these in my basement rooms over wood laminate without issue. I added double sided tape sections about 4 inches long on each edge at the middle of the piece to connect each piece to the next piece, just a little extra over the factory sticky strips. Make sure you have a very clean floor so the adhesive sticks or use a double sided tape. Beware that tape, especially acrylic based tape, can damage some floors especially wood. But if you are covering concrete use all the tape you want to, and if the concrete is broken up or cracked any or not level you need to use a self leveling product first. These tiles have a tough stiff backing so are not really for stairs. And most importantly you never known what you will get in a box and that is part of the fun.

The overall quality of the this product is great. It's a very fun design to add to a room. We converted our garage into my office/man cave. It was a huge step up from walking on concrete bare-footed. Installation went smoothly and quickly. We let our kids layout the squares to get them involved too.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! We used this as our flooring when converting our attic to living space. Very economical. Carpet out of the question due to size and weight. I wanted to be able to do something myself and not too permanent. Only comment - not all the tiles were the same height for the loops therefore, I ordered a couple extra boxes so I could pick through them. All my friends like the look, as well! Great idea!

These are a great, stylish, budget friendly solution. We purchased six boxes to carpet our basement. We were able to do it easily ourselves and it looks awesome. There were many different types of tiles, though we received more of some than others. There was a good assortment of colors and patterns, though not as many bright, colorful tiles as I was hoping for. Overall we are very happy with it and would definitely recommend. Cons: -If you need to cut some tiles, like we did, you lose some of the sticky adhesive pads that are put on the tiles. We had to use a spray adhesive in order for it to stay put. -Not all the tiles are the same depth, it's not a HUGE discrepancy and it doesn't really bother us but it may bother others.

These tiles worked out great in the kids' playroom. Easy to put down and after adding additional two-sided tape, they seem to be sticking very well. If the kids really mess up one of them, all I have to do is pick it up and replace it with my spare tiles. Vacuums up very well and looks great on the floor.
