This was simple to put on my tree, yet a joy to use! I am disabled and could not get down to put water into my tree stand this year!! This plays "Jingle Bells" as a reminder for me to water-- and even plays a different time when you have filled it enough! And, no one notices it is in there--- until I SHOW them!! I will ALWAYS have one of these, as long as I get to have a fresh tree!!

The Christmas Tree Watering Device was easy to set up and works perfectly. The funnel easily attached to the tubing, hooked on to a tree branch and has not needed adjusting since. The monitoring device attached easily to the tree with hook and loop tape that was included with the product. I originally had it set too low in the water reservoir but reset it and haven't had to touch it since. Because of this " musical reminder" our tree of three weeks has dropped very few needles. I wish I had this years before!

The tree nanny worked perfectly. It was easy to use and kept our tree from drying out. I only wish I would have had something like this sooner.

This product made life so much easier this Christmas. Not having to get down on the floor to water the tree was so helpful and playing jingle bells to remind us to water kept the tree alive much longer than usual. Highly recommended!!

The monitoring device doesn't allow mid- to lower levels of water to be reported on a timely basis - the device did not go off when the reservoir was at a 2 inch level which I expected it to do - once filled, the device did not report back that the water level was set.

It did jingle when the water was low, however, it did not signal when the bowl was full! It is very convenient to use, and unless you know where to look, it disappears in the tree's foliage.

Does what it says. We love not having to crawl under the tree to water, and often overfill, the tree stand.

This gadget is amazing. I bought it 3 years ago and it works! Each year I get better at placing it. Just a few tips - don’t place the probe too deep and make sure the funnel is near the edge of the branches so you don’t knock down the ornaments getting to it. I actually went into the dollar store and bought a big funnel with a tube. I stick that into the tree Nanny funnel to fill it with water. Keeps me from disturbing my glass ornaments. It definitely needs light which is a bonus because it doesn’t ring in the middle of the night. I put the Nanny on the side of the tree facing the window. Mark the spot where you put funnel with a particular ornament because it really blends in and can be hard to find! I definitely recommend this product - especially if physical impairments prevent you from getting under the tree.

This device was nice only for watering into the spout without having to bend down under the tree. The chimes noises it was supposed to make when the tree needed water and when it was full did not work at all. It still did not work after changing the batteries but at times made a continuous noise.

it's good for watering so yoou don't have to bend over, but the chime only worked the first time, and then went off randomly periodically for no reason.

This Tree Nanny makes watering the Christmas tree so much easier. It is a bit difficult to attach it to the branches but after it's attached, watering is much less of a hassle.

Tubing was very stiff and could have been longer. Great idea tho. It does go off when the tree needs to be watered and that was always a nice reminder.

The only thing good about it I was not on the floor watering the tree it never play jingle bells when need water but it’s ok

This actually works really well! I think this product is genius. It makes it easier to water and lets you know when and even how much to keep your tree fresh. Great product!!

Stay away from this product! This is my good deed for the day, to warn anyone thinking about buying this not to waste their money and time. It's really awful. The tube is soft and kinks easily. After setting this up for a senior, he complained that the cup at the top wasn't draining. I later found the tube had bent in the middle. Yet, I had carefully placed it when setting it up. The tube is such soft plastic that any downward push will kink it. And, the crease can't be fully undone. The electronic part itself is beyond useless. It's complicated and frustrating. The senior I had this set up for spent a night being disturbed by this constantly beeping. I have no idea why it's beeping -- bad batteries? Who knows, there's no information on this. I don't want to waste any more of my time on this. It never worked properly -- or at least in a useful manner. When we visited, we always just got on the floor and checked the water level manually. And, we also watered manually. The instructions say to place one probe at least 2 inches below the highest water level and place a light bulb at least 6 inches from the light sensor on the device Huh? I'm technical and like gadgets -- that work. This is, to be short, cheap junk.

Doesn’t work

This is a great tool! The chimes/music are not too loud. My only complaint is that the tube comes rolled so tight that it takes stretching to get it from the funnel to the base of the tree and have the funnel at a reasonable height. Once stretched though, works great! Highly recommend!

So far so good! We have been using this item for few days and it is letting us know when we need to water and when the tree stand is full.

I purchased one for my daughter and she was pleased, so I got another one for my other daughter.
