Works great, needs a longer hose, but we like not having to get on the floor to water the tree!!

the tree nanny is simply amazing!!! We are seniors in our seventies and eighties and cannot easily get down on the floor to water our Christmas tree. "Nanny" saved the day. It is so easy for us to use and lets us know when to add water. When we hear the Jingle Bells play, we know to water the tree and when to stop putting water in. Whoever thought of the idea for this product is a genius. We just purchased it this year. There is nothing to dislike and it more than meets our expectations!!! Many thanks!!

First year using this and it is really neat, we were sitting watching Television and heard what we thought were church bells on the Christmas program we were watching but was this device telling me I needed to water the tree. I gave it 4 stars because we have a 7 and half foot tree and the hose could stand to be a little longer to water, the tree is fat so by the time I get the funnel to where I can reach it is only a couple of feet off the ground but it beats trying to crawl under the tree.

Super sad! So the device has a good battery indicator with a red flashing light. When ever it flashed it made a loud clicking sound. The battery died in two days and I never heard the low water song, just stopped clicking (which lets face it, was super annoying to be in the same room with.) I will bee seeing about a return and refund!

This was the FIRST year I didn't have to crawl under the tree to water it! The best part is that it plays music when the tree needs watering and again when you put enough in . This is also the first year I got my tree mid November and we just took it down Jan.12th. We did not have much needles falling off! I'm glad I got it, made things easier and I believe it helped keep the tree alive longer.

I was extremely surprised . This Tree Nanny worked exactly as described. Very well thought out. Shuts off at night. Plays jingle bells every 10 minutes when needs watering and plays chime when full. The green fill funnel blends in perfect with the tree. Only thing is the plastic tubing is just a wee bit too small to be able to get it onto the funnel. But ok if warm the tube with hair drier first. I definitely recommend this to anyone who uses a real Christmas tree. Too bad it can only be ordered online. Would be great to be able to buy in store. On plus side it was free shipping at Christmas.

Works great and we don't have to commando crawl to water the tree. Grand kids got so excited when they heard jingle bells to let us know the tree was thirsty but not when its dark. I had to lengthen the strap to fit the truck.

Loved not having to try and remember to put water in the basin and not having to climb under the tree to do it!

This saved Christmas! My husband has a bad back, but this made watering the tree so easy.

Terrible purchase! Although the mechanism chimed while we were filling it, it NEVER played a tune to tell me that the tree was dry. I was home for 5 days and it never even went off!

It's awesome, don't know why didn't get it years ago. Plays songs to Remind me when tree needs water, no needles on the floor and gives me a sound when enough water , so never overfill . It's the best!!!!!!

This is a great product. No more bending over to water or forgetting to water the tree. It reminds you! My tree is still in great shape!

This thing is awesome, works great. No more getting on my hands and knees to water the tree.

My least favorite thing about a real tree is crawling under it,to water it. This device is very helpful in that situation. Simply pour in the funnel and it travels down the tubing. The only draw back is the the funnel weighs the limb down, if not clipped near the trunk.

I have bought two of these tree nanny's. They are great gifts. The people I bought them for have been very happy with them. Maybe one day I will buy one for myself.:)

My tree sings out in the morning for a drink and lets me know when it is done! No more crawling under the tree and getting flock and needles in my hair and clothing. Very fun to show the grandchildren too!

The Tree Nanny is easy to assemble but difficult to place in a tree. It dose let you know when the tree needs watering. Overall though I feel it's not really worth buying.

This is perfect! It works great. It plays a song when it needs water and chimes when you need to stop adding water. With the added funnel and tube it makes it so easy to keep your tree greener.

Not only is this clever, it is attractive and useful. I ran across this item on HomeDepot.com, read the reviews and knew I wanted it. I never thought I would receive it for this Christmas season but there it was two days later at my front door. The review on softening the tubing was useful--I simply straightened it out and let it rest for a few days. The "Nanny" operates true to its advertisement, it looks really nice in the tree and does it without my having to crawl under the tree to water it. Good investment--great product.

The Tree Nanny allows those who use a real Christmas tree to know when water needs to be added to the pan without having to get down under the tree to check. You can also fill up the pan without having to get under the tree and disturb all of the decorations. It has a daytime sensor so the alarm doesn't sound at night and a full sensor so you don't overfill the pan. The only negative that I experience was the length of the feed tube does not allow sufficient length to easily pour water in the pan. It is possible to fill the pan, but not as easy as it would be with a slightly longer tube.

Works great, but remember to put it in the tree before you decorate. Great features.

I hate crawling under the tree to water it, then usually overfilling and having water running over onto the floor. The Tree Nanny was just what I needed. It was easy to install, except for the plastic tubing, which was kinked when I took it out of the packaging so that the water wouldn't drain correctly. I finally microwaved the tubing until it softened and stayed open. For the weeks we had the tree up, it chimed when it needed water and again when full. Great product!

Once I had the product in the tree, watering became very easy. Make sure you cut a piece off the trunk before you put it in the stand, and fill the reservoir with water immediately.

Having a Christmas tree sitting on new wood floors was causing me nightmares. A leak would be catastrophic, and we had a long history of over-filling or spilling the water jugs as we watered trees in the past. This year, the tree never went dry, was never over filled, not one spill or even the need to crawl under the tree to figure out if it needed water. My ONLY complaint is that it was not available at my location, and had to be ordered online. I don't know anyone with a living room floor that is amenable to getting accidentally soaked, so this should be in every single store, every single year. BEST $20 I have ever spent for the holidays. I will never be without one of these as long as we put up a tree!

My husband said that this is one of the best purchases we have ever made. The tree tells us when it is thirsty and then tells us when the water container is full. No bending over and killing your back in the process!! We did modify the funnel that adds water with a rigid tube.

We were really anticipating this product and had great hopes of my finally being able to water the tree. But the Grinch must have visited. The hose would not stay uncoiled and there was no convenient limb to hold the cup. Alas and alack, this is not the solution to our problem. In the trash!

I have tried every watering system out there over the years and I have finally found one that does what it says it will do. For my tree this year, Dec. 2013, I have used this device and I can not be happier. No more climbing around under the tree.......I can stand and water in comfort!! As long as you set it up correctly it consistently tells me when the tree needs water and then again when I filled it up. I am not sure it would work well in shallow tree stands as it takes about 1/2 gal of water to fill it up from the low warning point to the full point. I don't know how many Christmas' I'll get out of it but for this one I am very satisfied with my purchase.
