Our deck needed an update look and the Trex gave us that look. It was easy to put together. Now that it is all put together the deck looks bigger and a delight to be out on the deck. My expectations went above what I had in mind.

Easy Install. Keep in mind that if the edge is visible you will need some kind of trim piece.

Installed over cement patio in back yard. Looks beautiful, my husband did the installation (70 yr old retired Carpenter) by himself although was time comsuming he got it completed in 1 week. Love the finished project out come.

No. The colors of the square edge and the grooved edge are completely different. We have to take it all off/ return it and try to order again. Waist of time and money

Pricey, but looks and performs way better than wood decking. So far no buckling from temperature swings summer through fall. Will see how it does in winter. Held up well to SoloStove fire pit.

Material warps
Do not buy this - go to a trex store and get something higher quality. This product pulls at the ends and sags between the joists spaced 2 feet from each other and there’s nothing you can do. Good composite is a true rectangle. If you look underneath this trex you’ll see they saved money on material by stripping groves out of the boards. Because of that product is flimsy and dips in between the joists and splits up at every single end.
I’m shocked this has decent reviews.

However, we would like to mention that the maximum recommended joist spanning for any of our 1x6 boards in a residential application is 16" on center. Unfortunately, anything more than that can cause the boards to sag and warp.
