Should be called 4.5 in x 4.5 in
Too big for my 4x4 deck post. Will be returning. The packaging splits the halves.

Good post base
This base matches with a cap of the same material. This sleeve fits perfectly around a sided 4x4 post. Much better than a wooden product - this composite product is easy to clean and looks nice. Being a composite product - I do expect it will have a much longer expected lifetime than any wooden sleeve.
Very good option for less maintenance and durability.

TREX Post Sleeve Skirt in White
Great product to provide a outstanding finished look to your TREX 4x4” Post Sleeve.
Well made will last for many years. A periodic cleaning wipe suggest every few month to clean any bird or other marks.
The product is simple, but well made, fits perfectly, easy to install (just slide down the post sleeve prior to installing rails)
No screws or glue required.
Highly recommended for that finished high end look.

I purchased the 6X6 posts…it showed the skirts needed to...
I purchased the 6X6 posts…it showed the skirts needed to be added to the order. Sadly the skirts were 4X4, you did not have the transcend 6X6 skirts available.
The picture was misleading, the mistake I’ll own for not double checking the information.

Tell us the Inside Measurements
I purchased this item for a 4x4 but the inside measurements are 4.5 x 4.5. This is to big for my 4x4 post cover. I wish you would include the inside measurements on you specification page. Have to return and wait another 2 weeks to get the one I need.
