Not as thick as flannel but a lot warmer than flannel. Comfy too.

The sheets are awesome!

Sheets were microfiber. It a very bad microfiber. I have microfiber sheet now which we love. I think they have a blend of cotton. Truly Soft sheets are not truly soft We tried one set. lousy. We returned them the next day & cancelled the other sets. We have 2 exlong twin beds.
