Very nice product. Looks great.

So worth not having to paint! We glued to the wall and then nailed the lip where the nickel gap is and out wall turned out amazing.

I needed more of this product to finish my project. This matched previous product.

Find a different product. This is not an inexpensive product but I needed black wood and didn't want to use "faux" shiplap and paint it. I want to detail the damages and flaws in the boards I received, but Home Depot claims that's a delivery problem which can't be included in a review. If you opt for this solution I recommend you have it delivered to a store and that you open the boxes and inspect the boards before leaving the store because I guarantee you too will find flaws, some serious enough to render large portions of the board unusable.

Overall the product is pretty good; however, I came across two issues during installation:1. The boards were not cut square at the ends. Had to square up each board.2. The prefinished product had flaws. I would buy the primed and paint it after installation.

THINK TWICE. I bought this product to make a black feature wall on a pretty large wall next to our new kitchen remodel. I needed it to look good, an from what I could tell by the description and photos, I thought it would. And I thought it would save me on painting time/cost. So I bought $2000 of this stuff, and then paid another $2000 for a good carpenter to hang it. First, when the product scratches even very lightly, it shows through white (very noticeable). Then, the product is cupped/bowed. It has a curvature in the middle. That wasn't a HUGE deal, but he carpenter had to nail the boards not only on the lip, but also on the face of the product, to keep the bowing down. So now I have nicks and nail holes in my product. The final issue, and this is the worst... I can't believe HD would sell a product like this... at the end, I went to wipe the product down. I started with water, but there were still finger prints, so I turned to Windex. I know, maybe I should have used Windex, but I have used Windex for years on MANY painted surfaces with great results. I have NEVER had the paint come off !!! With windex on a clean rag, I wiped the surface and was about half way over the wall when I realized my rag was black! To my shock, when I looked back over the part I wiped, it had splotches now that were permanent!!! I'm so mad. Now I need to pay to have it painted. What a waste. I should have just purchased regular shiplap. My final gripe is that even though I know my painter will do a great job, I know I'm putting good paint over bad, which is never a great idea. Not a good product. It may work for you on small areas, where you don't care about perfection, and where you only plan to EVER clean it with water.

I really wanted to love this product. It looks great once up and is easy to install. The problem is the condition of the product. Several pieces were unusable even with having to make cuts. I have ordered this product three times and every time there are unusable boards. Our project is finally complete after the third order.

The boards are not cut straight. If installing behind a lever shelf or something of the sort, it's very difficult to ensure the edges of the shiplap are level in relation. Additionally, several boards came with damaged corners or flaws in the paint. Expect to have to repaint the boards and don't spend the extra on these because they're already "finished".
