I bought this off a recommendation from a friend. I was updating some hardware in my bathroom and had to patch some walls and retentive. This stuff was amazing and I would definitely buy again.

This product is very smooth and easy to use. It dries with very little shrinkage. Sabds down nicely.

I only used it once and now it’s trash. The top is covered with mold which seems to be a common problem with this product.

See other reviews, if you don't use it quickly the leftover mud in the container WILL mold :(

I use to use this product all the time. I would buy a large bucket to keep on hand but USG has, apparently, changed their formula so that any unused portion will get moldy within the bucket after only a few months. My guess is that it is an underhanded way to get you to buy more of the stuff (when you have to throw the molded left-overs in the trash). The last time I bought this, I only bought a small tub for a minor repair. When I tried to use it again, the 98% leftover had a slimy mold on top. I search online and others have reported the same... Whatever happened to the pride of making a quality product in America, for hard working Americans? I will try other products. Very disappointed.

A standard drywall compound for drywall repairs, can be used for textured ceilings once the product has been thinned.

Very happy with this product! Dries smooth and spreads nicely.

Good product for the DIY person

I had a small patch job on some drywall and made the purchase of the smallest container I could find. It seems that I have always gone to the USG joint compound for my drywall work. Good consistency for easy handling and application. Little to no mess on small jobs. I'll make this purchase again when I need it.

It does the job! I wish it came in a smaller container (really!). I don't use a lot of joint compound and it goes bad (hard and moldy) before I can use it all.

It worked perfect for patching my walls after removing wallpaper and gouging the walls.
