This product should be used with the universal panic hardware Model # 40010. This will work well. The cylinder is included and it will match up nicely to the product. This handle is made of stainless steel and seems to be built well and should hold up to the weather. It is easy to mount, and can be mounted when you install the panic bar, or later if you choose. You will need a wider hole to drill if you mount it later as the panic hardware holes are in the same place, but are smaller. You will drill one additional hole lower on the door as well.

The universal hardware commercial stainless steel pull plate has a nice smooth industrial looking look and weight to it. It is exactly what you need on commercial doors, it has a deep enough large loop handle that is easy to get ahold of. It comes pre drilled for a small commercial grade lock and has all the hardware for a simple install. It was shipped as a single unit and not a pair.

Universal Hardware offers a Life Time Warranty. This door pull is above average in design and construction. The heavier gauge stainless steel, finished off with a handsome polished finish, and nicely flat surface that will add strength and security. The back of the pull has 6 heavier duty studs, that support any weight for a standard pull. No wonder they offer a Life Time Warranty. This one lives up to the name.

Doesn't feel like it will fall apart like others I have purchased in the past. I was tired of replacing more expensive turn style handles on doors that didn't need a locking function and yet this one have ability to install with mortise lock, it was the perfect solution. Just wish I had purchased and installed this style of handle years ago. Also this particular model works perfect with push lock bar for the emergency exits. LET IT BE CLEAR THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH YOUR TRADITIONAL LOCK THE HOLE IS SMALL, IT WORKS WIT MORTISE LOCKS.

I use hanldes for many of my older restaurants that have standard doors to restrooms. I always have to purchase a plate and then the handle. This seems crazy but that is all I can ever find. This handle was nice change. I was able to use the handle and have the thumb lock on top. It was much easier to install and I dont have to worry about screws coming loose. Keep making product like this. I am loving the commercial series The main metal is more than a 16th thick. I expect it to work for a long time.

Universal Hardware Commercial Stainless Steel Pull Plate with Cylinder Hole. This is in itself a hardy well made quality metal pull handle for doors that use the universal panic bar lock system. It comes with a pre machined cylinder hole at top about 1 1/8 in diameter and comes with all the mounting hardware necessary to install on outside of door. Very solid pull built into plate. Does require disassembling of panic bar inside and outside for installation. Nice finish.

This door pull is not a universal door pull that could be easily installed on any door. This is a commercial/industrial door pull to complement a panic door device latching system. These are the doors you find in many public places where there is a bar at hip level that will open the door when pressed. You’ll remember these from any school, movie theater, or shopping mall to name a few. These are designed to automatically open a latched door if people are pressed up against the closed door in a panicked crowd. The pre-drilled 1-1/8 inch hole is intended for a key cylinder only, and will not fit a standard 2-1/8 inch deadbolt. It is very well made with a thick stainless steel plate, and complies with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) specifications.

Very sturdy commercial pull plate made of a better ANSI grade 2 steel, is designed to outlast all others.  Very heavy duty at 2 pounds, so security will not be an issue. Guaranteed to survive even the harshest weather conditions. Ready to install, and this will be a welcome addition to my existing rear gates, and I appreciate that no modifications are necessary.  Highly recommend this product to other Home Depot shoppers wanting the best the market has to offer.  I was impressed from the initial viewing of this pull plate.

Heavy duty stainless steel pull plate is not your cheap metal you find elsewhere. This thing is heavy and it can do any job you throw at it. It's stainless steel is ANSI grade 2. The thing itself is 2 lbs. You can use this for both indoor and outdoor projects. It has a pre-cut slot for cylinder. You can install this on any door but probably best for those doors that are used the most.

It needs a proper temp plate for installation but it a great product.

Returned for refund. Would not fit properly.
