120 Volt AC power plugs stopped working on the 2nd day. Overall reviews from multiple sources suggest that these units are defective quite often.

Can't even charge my phone without shutting off 20 times to gain a 2% charge. Is loud and the fan runs continuously. Casing rattles, short 12v cord. There is no indication except for the blinking power button that it stopped charging so you have to keep checking whatever's plugged in. I've had a 375 and 450 invertor that made easy work of what this garbage can't stomach. Do not bother buying. .

One of the power cord ends came out easily and had to reclamp it. But we still use it and are happy so far

Poorly advertised. Doesn't do the basic thing I need, which is to charge from HOUSEHOLD plug. Nowhere on package does it say charges ONLY from car cigarette lighter.

Returning does not work.

Will not even charge a cell phone. This inverter is completely useless. Unless you want to charge your laptop under the hood of your car while it is running these units do not work at all with the 12v outlet. It will turn on, but as soon as any load is applied the unit stops working.

This inverter wont run a 175 watt charger without the light flashing and the unit will shutoff. Does it repeatedly and wont even charge a phone. I do not recommend this inverter.

I already owned a unit that could be plugged into a cigarette lighter, but the power had gone out and I wanted to be directly connected to a battery. I purchased this unit so I wouldn't have to Jerry rig my other inverter. I brought it home I put it together I followed the instructions confirming positive and negative, but the unit would not provide AC power. I could plug something in and it would power on very briefly but then power off, though I was able to power a cell phone through the USB adapter. I ended up Jerry rigging my other inverter. Which was rated for far fewer amps and was able to power a cable modem and wifi router...which allowed me tonverfiy the.same tree got my power and my internet. I have since returnee this unit.

no good does not have enough power for anything

This is a flashing greenlight and it wont run my PlayStation 4 and a small little tv it should only be 150 watt and should work

It's ok for the price tag it has, but it's very noisy once you start it, and you have to remember to turn it off every time you get out of your vehicle; there is no real place to mount or place it inside the car due to its weird shape, don't recommend it.

If you need to charge small items it works ok. 500 watts is way overrated wouldn’t even run a 75w light bulb or air mattress pump without vehicle running! Spend your money wisely!!!

It gets the job done

I bought this to use to charge power tool batteries in my work truck. Unboxed it, plugged it in, and within five minutes it was pouring out black smoke. I got to it with a fire extinguisher just in time for it to start actually shooting out white flames. Would give zero stars if I could. Probably a great product if you want to burn your vehicle down for insurance money.

Too many issues have to constantly unplug it just to restart it

No mounting area. Started shutting off and on for no reason.

This is a terrible inverter . Auto shuts off every 10 mins or so under load . Will not charge a laptop and iPhone at the time without hitting the shut off . Worst inverter I have every owned . Be better to by a hand crank .

It shorts out and stops charging intermittently. I most likely return to the store.

On the box it shows that it can charge powertools. That is a lie. It will not power any of my chargers for powertools.
