The grill was easy to assemble but it does leak air when fully closed. Smoke leaks out the ash box area and the the top when fully closed.

I received my Visions grill through Home Depot and have been extremely impressed with the ability to cook several different cuts of meat, utilizing high heat and searing (700 degrees) and also ribs at a low heat (<250). I’m early in my appreciation of this grill — so far I love it!

Very little moving parts to assemble. Main component is quite heavy - make sure you have a suitable helper to lift it in to place. Hint: shipping weight is 231 lbs. Performance has been great-you can switch from propane to charcoal with ease.

Worst experience ever. Two months have gone by and I still don’t have the grill.

I am in love with my new GRILLFRIEND! I searched and investigated every grill and smoker out there. I went with the Vision for the veristilay ultimately. To be able to switch to gas is awesome. But overall product is built well and the double grill insert doubles the room to cook on is a plus.

Easy to assemble. Easy to use. I am a little concerned with smoking with the propane insert. There is not a defined spot for wood chips. We put a oven tin on top of the heat diffuser with soaked wood chips. This worked out very well!! Very happy with it so far!!

my wife (santa) gave this to me as my Christmas gift. I love it ! it is a solid piece of equipment which I will utilize many times. the only thing I see wrong is the gas tank doesn't fit properly into the caddie. Im looking forward to making a pizza and experiencing many cook outs

Easy to assemble and use- had to redo a gasket to seal up some air leaks, but other than that this kamado has been great. More accessories and features for the money vs. competitors.

It works great for me; used it twice so far and still experimenting with it and learning. It is nice to see something different in bbq grills. The heat exchanger idea is great because it helps keep burner from getting clogged; I will probably only use gas insert. It is easy to control temperature. Cleans up pretty easy; that was one of the reasons for getting this. It retains heat very well.

I have only had my Vision for a couple months so far but WOW. The consistency of these grills is no joke. It took only an afternoon to really get the temperature settings dialed down. After that it is basically set it and forget it. After purchasing a pellet grill I was a little worried about maintaining temperature with charcoal but to my surprise, they hole temp amazingly well! And the versatility you have is great too!

Grill easy to assemble, only problem was ring to hold LP Tank is too small. Literally had to use a hammer to tap it over the foot of the LP tank. Not looking forward to swapping the LP tank out.

We recently purchased a Vision Grill, after owning a Big Green Egg for 10 years. It has EXCEEDED all of our expectations! We couldn't be happier with our purchase! We love that we are able to choose whether we want to cook over coals, or if we want to use the gas insert to cook. The design is extremely well thought out, as it gives us great flexibility, and makes weeknight (and weekend!) cooking very simple. We have used the grill for chicken, fish, and many types of vegetables. It has been fun experimenting with different types of food, as everything we have made has been delicious! We can't wait to try more over the coming months. The grill was very easy to learn how to use, and is a breeze to clean! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for versatility in their grilling, and of course, delicious results!

I used to smoke or twice now and I am very pleased the only thing I would have to say is that down by the were you put in a heating element door paint is chipping started to take it back but it's just too much work other than that so far it seems to be working fine PS the delivery was very Speedy fast I was really impressed. I'll keep you update if the paint starts to chip worse.

This grill has not disappointed. I got the propane insert and it rocks. I live in a very salty environment so I disassembled the whole thing (it comes mostly assembled) and clear coated all of the metal parts. This isn't necessary but I want it looking its best.

Grilling heaven! So easy to use I doubt I will ever use the propane converter.

Hands down just as good if not better than the big green egg. We have used it every night since we have had it.

The grill was easy to assemble, great quality, love the Chili Red color. We are using the gas insert mostly right now. A friend saw ours and had to have one.

So far I have loved this grill. I haven’t used the propane because I bought the accessories pack and it came with the electric starter for coals. Way to easy! Highly recommend. Overall, I can see me and my family enjoying this for a long time. I do like the versatility of both options. Easy to use and to set up.
