Works well, easy to refill and adjust settings. The only 3 things I would wish for are blue lights that ae much less brighter, a larger water tank, and, for high speed to be just a little bit quieter- it's not obnoxiously loud but could be just a little quieter IMO.

Actually does a better job than the newer, larger Dorado.Can be a little noisy at times.Filler cap...make sure it's snug!If I needed another, I'd probably get another of these.

The humidifier works well. It is a little bit loud on the high setting. Also the light indicating the setting is bright for me at night. I took a small piece of cardboard, using masking tape to cover it. Then can easily open it to get at the controls. We like it, overall.

Very nice. Very quiet on low and soft breezy rush on high. Easy to set up and fill. Takes care of my 8' x 10' music room where I keep my guitars at 50% RH, even with the door open to my 20x40 apartment. Very accurate RH settings by comparing to my separate humidity gages in the room.

I was easy to put together...what little "put together " there was. Easy, easy, oto use and especially quiet at night in my bedroom. Would recomment it to everyone.

Easy to use. Quiet and works really well. Have the air quailty reading and it's pretty accurate.

Effective at raising humidity (more than 15%) in 200 sq ft bedroom. Does not spray a stream of moisture into the air like the ultrasonics do, so no concerns about protecting furniture or flooring. Quiet on low setting, distinct fan sound on high. Gurgling sound occasionally (all humidifiers do.)

We use the product in our bedroom. This is a replacement of the same model we used for several years, until the control panel decided to quit. The new model's motor occasionally gets louder than usual and is somewhat of a concern, although the overall operation is good.

The controls are very easy to use, but I've had it running 24/7 for 2 weeks now and have only managed to have the humidity go up to between 30-40%. The fan on high is quite loud - on low it's very quiet. I have yet to discover how it will effect my electric bill. I wanted it to be more effective.

It is good enough

This humidifier has worked well for us. On the automatic setting and 50% humidity, it maintains the seeting easily. It is important to shut any door so that the room is sealed off. The automatic fan setting will run on high until the target humidity percentage is reached. Then it will switch to low.

Easy to operate and maintain, but noisy operation and filters/wicks need to be change in one month, though instructions say 4 to 6 weeks. The unit struggled to maintain humidity, did so for a short period, and within slightly more than a month, was unable to do so.

Work very well and you control temperature in room.

The product does not work well. it runs and runs and runs but the filter doesn't get wet enough. water level at the bottom is only about one inch ... the filter does not absorb through ]to the top allowing for humidity to process properly. I would not buy or recommend this product poor design

This is a wonderful addition to our Arizona home. We have three and don't know what we'd do without them as we have a lot of wood art as well as inlaid furniture we brought down from up north. This is our first replacement in the group of 3 so we are pleased with its longevity/cost ratio. We've also had occasion to be in touch with the company and they are top-notch. That's why we're replacing our dead one with the same style/company as our original purchase of 7 yrs. ago. Home Depot's service is great, too.

We live in a dry area that is cold in winter, so the heater is running and really dries the already dry air. I like the idea of an evaporative humidifier. Have tried ultrasonic and feel it's overkill, too many things to go wrong. Although this unit says 700 ft2 I use this to humidify our whole house (2400 ft2) by putting the unit in the basement near the furnace air intake. I run it on high all winter long on the constant setting (even though you can set it for different humidity levels). These units work best if you don't turn them off and let the water sit. Running it this way is simple and makes it a much more pleasant humidity in the house. It uses about 3/4 tank of water each day, so I refill it daily--shows that it's putting a lot of water into the air. I had the prior model probably 8 years and ran it this way. We have a little hardness in our water which was building up in the unit, so I just replaced it. Would do so again, hope they keep making it. At end of winter I clean the unit and throw out the media, replace with new each year. If you turn it off and the media dries out, it will lose it's wicking ability (plus could get moldy at bottom if you really neglect it) and you'll have to replace the media more often. High fan setting is a little noisy but it's pushing a lot of air. Yes blue lights are bright but we have it in another room so the white noise and lights aren't an issue for us. I recommend it for this type of use, am really happy with it.

I've had this humidifier for about 3 yrs now. It's a good humidifier. You really notice the difference in the winter when the heating system is running. It also doubles as a white noise machine all year round. The only problem I have with this humidifier is cleaning it. The housing that holds the fan, motor and push button controls is incredibly hard to clean. You essentially have to take this housing apart and use a lot of cotton swabs to get into all the crevices where sticky dust builds up . This takes over an hour to do. The three other main parts clean up pretty quickly and easily. I would only recommend this humidifier if you are comfortable disassembling and reassembling it and have the patience to do a thorough job.

Seems to be doing a pretty good job

Liked it so well that I bought 3 of them for my dry southwestern desert home. One of the tanks, or its seal, leaked but customer service promptly replaced it and I'm totally satisfied.

This humidifier repalced a one-gallon EVAP-2 with a sqeaky fan bearing. It is easier to fill and to replace the filled container on the frame. It is, as promised, whisper quiet on low. The LED indicator lights are very bright for a bedrom, fixable with tape covering.

I am glad I bought this humidifier.It was easy to set up.I sleep much better now,and the only problem I have is that I have to fill it about every three days. I keep it on low and it is very quiet,so it doesn't interfere with my sleep.It was a good choice.

I like the recessed handle especially for a 1.5 gal container. I run mine 20 hours a day on high and the bucket lasts about 8 hours. Little noisy at that level. Unfortunately this unit does not work as well in my apartment because of ceiling Hvac vents, 2 of them in the respective room. I would think floor vents will distribute the moisture a lot better. With the ceiling, the air currents are pushing the moisture downward towards the floor so the major benefit of increased moisture is not realized. With that said though, this is a solid unit, easy to clean and take apart and for the price a good buy along with a 5 year warranty.
