Nice band saw, easy to assemble, well built, great for the average wood worker.

EXCELLENT PIECE OF MACHENERY

I am surprised at how well this bandsaw works for the price. Had some trouble switching to an 1/8" blade but once I got the tracking adjusted it works almost as well as a scroll saw and cuts nice, tight circles etc. I made a zero clearance insert that made it work even better. Very happy

Packaged securely. Arrived on time. So far it has worked just fine. I am a wood carver and need to cut basswood pieces larger than 3 inches, so many of the other options just didn’t work for me. This came with a 3/8 inch blade which works well for the large pieces. Blade adjustment was done and looks easy enough. It performs well and the light is really a nice feature.

Perfect tool for our shop! Excellent quality and easy assembly. I would buy it again!

Works better than my old 9 inch bandsaw.

Although I THOUGHT I was buying a band saw with a 9" high cutting area, once unpacked and set up, I find the maximum height is 6 1/2" which actually for me is still probably greater than I will use repeatedly. I am pleased with the purchase price, ease of set up and the power so far shown.

This Band Saw is better than I expected, I purchased two blades 1/8, 1/2” for ripping scroll type work. Easily assembled, and tips on the band I use bread ties, Zip ties, securing the bottom then work on the top. Thanks for a great product.

This bandsaw is a phenomenal value! So far the only issues I've had are with the fence and just the overall slight cheap feel the tool has, with that being said, you get what you pay for. The fence is definitely on the lower quality side of things and occasionally when locked down doesn't center properly and I can visually see the fence angled off to one side or the other. It still works as a fence, if you're looking for accuracy however, you might want to upgrade it a little down the road. The saw comes with a few odds and ends like a little miter gauge but it's really not super useful, it's pretty small and kind of binds up in the slot so I don't use it much. Overall the saw is not the best thing out there but if you look at the price it begins to look a whole lot better, it really is an absolutely phenomenal saw for the price and I would happily but it again.

If you’re primarily cutting styrofoam or 1/4” plywood, you might find this a useful machine. If you need to cut wood, I’d look elsewhere. The motor stalls as soon as it touches anything thicker than half an inch. No resaw capacity, blade drifts, blade comes off the track. I never knew I could dislike a tool so much.

It came mostly assembled. I just put the legs, deck, and gate on. It seems well made and cut perfectly right out of the box. Ive always been a die hard Dewalt fan, but I just bought a Wen Jointer and I wont hesitate to buy more Wen tools. Very pleased.

Saw is very quiet running no vibration saw was very easy to set up it cuts very well i do recommend this saw

Really happy with this saw. It is very accurate once you tune it in and that only takes a few minutes. It doesn’t have a lot of power but if you take your time with a good blade it cuts really smooth. I would buy it again.

I am a amateur wood worker and this tool is robust. I am excited to expand the utilization of this tool. The only upgrade would be on the blade. Other than that it is easy to assemble and operate. This not a stock item for Home Depot; however, the ordering, shipping and curbside pick up were executed flawlessly. Thanks HD.

Great product for the price! Band saws are typically very expense, for a good one. I've been looking at band saws for a very long time now, doing research on them and this one always stood out to me because of the features and the price. The only reason that I didn't give it five stars is because I'm a little disappointed with the rip fence. Wen could have made it go out a lot further then it does. You can't rip as wide as the throat is. And the light needs a longer gooseneck so that it will light the front of the cutting area. Its like it was and after thought. It took me 10 minutes to put the legs on it and set it up and it worked right out of the box. No adjustments needed. I'm sure I will have do that to when I change the blade.

Pros Putting this band saw together was pretty easy. All but one of the settings and alignments were correct. It has a built-in work light on a gooseneck. A company with a long history is a plus for me. Issues In 2022, I shouldn't have to change pulleys in order to change speed. The legs don't have mounting holes for wheels.

I've spent hours with this trying to get a straight cut and it's just not possible. The blade VEERS to the right as if I'm doing a cross cut when I'm trying to do a rip or a resaw. I've adjusted everything over and over again.

Just got this to replace my old Craftsman band saw that was probably 40 years old. Assembly was easy and straightforward. up changes were minimal, very close from factory. I do want to get a thinner blade for tighter curves etc. but provided blade cuts well. I like that it has a dust collection port. Work light could offer better positioning. I have other Wen products and for the price point I think they are outstanding. Cuts well, very quiet compared to my old unit. The only drawback is I am not 100% sold on the fence being perfectly square due to the way it clamps up but so far it seems to work good. Very satisfied and would recommend.

Assembly and adjustment was straightforward. The included stand is nice (I need to add another shelf on the middle supports). The light is good but IMHO should have been mounted on the feed side. This is a great little bandsaw at this price point.

I do a small cuts and this works great. Not sure I would want to use for large pieces of wood.

Great saw, easy to assemble and works great for my needs as a DIY’er and craftsman. I have other Wen tools and love them all. Highly recommend.

I am pleased with my purchase of this bandsaw. Changing the blade is a bit of trouble but that might be true of bandsaws generally. It is quiet, easily cuts my wood, and seems pretty stable and well built.
