I upgraded from a standard kettle and could not be happier! The propane ignition, side table and sturdy quality cannot be beaten! I can't believe I waited so long to upgrade my 22" stand alone kettle for this beauty.

This Weber Performer Deluxe is definitely an upgrade from my previous Weber grills. The temperature management is outstanding. It may take a little to get the hang of it. If you want to take bbq skills to the next level get this kettle.

Functional and smart. Table, bin and shelf make this a no brainer purchase for the price!

I have now owned this grill about 2 yrs and have cooked many a meal on this unit! Sometimes 3-4x/week. The charcoal Bin, the igniter and the top hinged grate and removable center really give you flexibility. If I had to do over again, i would still purchase this unit. When i smoke on the WSM, i put the Performer next to it to use the table!

Had to leave my 1st performance grill behind during a relocation. Have purchased and used my 2nd one several times already. It is just as good if not a little bit better!

Best of both worlds: charcoal with propane starter. It takes a little more time than my comparable gas Genesis to be ready to cook, but it is worth the wait.

Best charcoal grill to date. My family has owned a previous gen of the current model, every part lasted 11 years and still going strong, so they got me this to keep the tradition and sticking with charcoal. I’ve used to numerous times in the past month and even used it to smoke meat, it’s not very hard regulating the temp. Like any grill, you have to clean and give it some TLC, I’ll check back in 10 years to say it’s still holding up.

Highly recommend this grill. It does everything from a quick cook of some burgers or I just did an 8 hour smoke for some pulled pork. Very nice packaging and very easy instructions as well make putting it together a breeze. All around a great product.

My kettle paint has already chipped. Besides that it is a nice grill

This grill is incredible! This is my 2nd performer. I have over 7 different styles of Weber kettle grills but only two identical performer deluxe grills. The Performer Deluxe is my go to for simple hotdogs and burgers to smoking a pork shoulder and more! The GBS is great especially if you add the sear grate. I’ve got the rotisserie as well. This grill is versatile and well worth every penny.

Amazing. Easy. Versatile: You can smoke, grill, control the burn and temperature. Add accessories and make grilling fun! Easy to clean: Everything comes apart so easily to clean and reassemble without having to look at the instructions.

Excellent setup. Love the gas starter. For the money, the performer just can’t be beat for convenience and charcoal cookability. There are more expensive grills out there but they basically do the same thing. On the flip side there are less expensive grills as we know, but the convenience trumps those. I used a 22” kettle before this which I now use as a spare. Since getting the performer, my outdoor cooking has risen to another level.

Electronic ignition makes it so user friendly, no need for ‘chimney’, I love the prep table, storage underneath, bin for charcoal, I even bought an adapter to use with a 20 pound bottle, and 4-wheels to roll around my patio. I love it!

Absolutely the most convenient and best kettle charcoal grill I’ve ever owned. And the whole debate over having a gas igniter system on a charcoal grill should be over the first time you use it. I pile the broken up lump into a stainless cone, hit the igniter, get everything ready over the next 15-20 minutes depending on how deep the charcoal is piled up, add the cooking grates for a 5 minute warm up, and then this thing is ready to roll. Great amount of indirect cooking area once the cone is shifted to the center, plus you still have a large sized area above the coals for any direct cooking or quick charring. The work surface is something I couldn’t do without and is great for all your BBQ layout. The tip out charcoal bin is super convenient to keep filled with lump or briquettes with a set of grill gloves on the top. Just tip out the bin and all your charcoal fuel is right there in easy reach to get the fire on quickly. The ash collection system is super easy to use and allows for quick cleanup in just a few minutes. This grill is well built, rolls around the patio with ease, and the bottom shelf is perfect to keep all your accessories like your chimneys, grill mats, and briquette holders in easy reach. If you’re on the fence just get this grill. It’s worth the money and you won’t be disappointed! Plus it’s satisfying knowing it’s made in the USA!

Love the combination of the table with the kettle. Really is a big plus to have room for your tools, trays, food. Also the lighter to ignite the coals is a really nice addition.

This was the best bday gift I ever bought myself. I had a 22” kettle that served me very well, but wanted to upgrade. Worth every penny. Easy to setup and install. The table is incredibly solid construction, and also comes in handy when I’m using my 22” WSM. The air vents and cleaning system are nice. I got the slate blue color that’s only available at Crate & Barrel, so she is as pretty as she is efficient.

You cannot beat the flavor this grill produces. The propane starter, charcoal storage and preparation top are all brilliant. No need for lighter fluid because the propane start will get the coals rolling in no time. Great grill.

Great grill. The side table is awesome. I use this grill at least 3 times a week

This is my first grill, and I’ve already grilled a couple of small things. The grill took a novice like me quite some time to put together, but I did it. As some other reviewers have mentioned, the timer installation is so crappy for such an amazing grill. I’ve tried several attempts to install it, but gave up. Our first time grilling turned out pretty well. The propane starter makes it really easy to light the coals. Clean up is also a breeze. I give the grill five-stars, but the timer negative five stars. It sucks.
