These lights are amazing! I set them up at dusk and they are still running strong a few hours later. The light is much brighter than I would have expected with solar powered. I love the color options. Set up was basically nonexistent, it was so easy.

Easy to set up, work great.....do wish the battery lasted a little longer on the single whit setting but am still not upset with the purchase overall.

I am buying more, that is how much I love these. I have always wanted green spotlights in my yard, but I always had a small yard. Now that has changed, these are perfect. Even in a northern state, I am getting enough solar to recharge them and they last all night. I can change them to white, or blue, or red, for the holidays, I just love it!! Can't wait for my next batch to show up, so I can do the front yard too! Love these, recommend highly, heavy duty, easy to install, and set to your desired color and aim. We have only had them about a month. It is everything I expected, and wanted. If someone asked me what more could I want, a remote control would be nice, but not necessary.

I initially wrote a review stating that the lights only lasted about 2 hours from a full charge. Well, the next day after I wrote that review, I didn't bother with the lights and left them as-is outside in my yard. They were still set to "white-Low beam". That night I thought someone was parked in front of my house because I noticed lights through the blinds. Nope, it was the 4 lights. I woke around 6am and the lights were still bright. Same thing the next night. So, I think you have to let these lights charged longer than 8 hours. Give it more like 16. Picture is attached.

After I opened the box, I tested the lights by turning the switch on and off. They worked fine. I installed them outside using the stake, however, because the instructions state to charge the battery a full 8 hrs in direct sunlight, I did not turn them on that night. I waited another full day and then turned them on around 8pm. I had them on the HI setting/white light. Two hours later, all but one light was completely dark. I turned them all off and let them charge the entire next day. It was very sunny that day, so the lights were in direct sunlight the entire time. That night, I set all the lights to the low setting. Not even an hour had gone by when I went to check them, and they were all dark. I'm calling customer service in the morning. I have another solar light that I purchased from HD months ago to try it out and it works fine, no problems. It's a different model though and doesn't have the color options. But I'd rather buy 3 more of that single light than to deal with these 4 new ones. Maybe I received a bad batch.

These are very versatile solar lights. They are already to go out of the box. You just have to put the stake in the bottom. They have many different settings for different lighting effects. You can set them on regular white light or they can change colors. The white lights have two brightness levels, HI for emergency and Lo for normal. You can set the colors to all rotating or pick one color or white and lock it in. It has a big solar panel attached to the top that will rotate to face the sun and the light is adjustable up and down to get the right affect. They come with anchor and screws so you can even attach them to a surface. We have the multiple colors aimed at our flag pole.

I am rather impressed with these Westinghouse Solar Spot lights. First off they are solar no electric needed, you have the capability of either mounting them or staking them in the ground. They also have the option of either a solid white light, which you can make bright or dim it down and a color changing light, which would be a nice effect for the holiday season. The solar panel is big enough for the light to get a good charge, but not overly obtrusive. The lights are adjustable, so you can have them shine right where you want them to. Thank You Home Depot

Nice set of solar low maintenance outdoor spotlights. These lights are solar and must be placed in a location that gets plenty of sun during the day in order to fully charge them. When fully charged they provide about 5 to 8 hours of light. The amount of time they stay lit is dependent on what setting they are on. There is a HI and LO setting, a white light only setting and a color changing setting. The Hi white light setting provides a plentiful amount of bright light. I currently am using the Lo setting which provides just the right amount of light and brightness for the uses I have. I did try the color changing setting, but it just didn’t work for the situation I am using them for. I could see using the color changing mode for holidays and special occasions. These lights are plastic and I’m not sure how well they will hold up in the hot Arizona sun. Only time will tell!!

With the holidays approaching I always find the need to purchase spotlights to highlight my decorations. These are perfect for that not only because they are solar which is the most convenient but because they have this added light feature. You can choose the white light which is really bright or you have the option of colors. It cycles continually between red blue green. Thinking that will be appropriate for Christmas. I really like this feature just wish it was a bit more colorful. It’s kind of subtle and softer than what I would prefer. Cannot give it 5 stars yet because one of them (you get 2) just stopped working after being charged in the sun 2 full days. I had to fiddle with the buttons to get it to work again and it did but the best thing about solar is that you shouldn’t have to babysit it. Hopefully this was a one time thing.

I was quite amazed at how bright these lights are, when in high mode it puts out a ton of light. I have a full set of plug in lights on my back yard but have always been hesitant to install the solar powered ones as in the past they just didn't have the necessary output. With the way led and battery technology has evolved though, its time to dump the wires and just use the solar powered versions. Plus they soooo much easier to install than corded lights. I found the color lights options though almost worthless and they put out so much less light than the white option, either in high or low mode. They lights are also entirely plastic and feel a bit cheap, I am a little concerned about their longevity, but we will see. The images of the tree show the difference between the high and low setting and then installed in my front yard.

Fun and useful item. I've got it on plain white light in front and color change lighting aimed at an exterior wall of the garage. Currently, the front white light is set on "high" and only stays lit for about 3 to 3 1/2 hours. I'm still trying to determine if this is due to a shortage of sunlight or if I need to set it on low. The light in back, set on color change is very pretty, but I would say the colors would be more intense at less than a 20' range. As it is now, it's quite subtle but still very nice. Super easy to assemble and depending on where you install it, not overly obtrusive in the landscape.Overall, its a "yes" from me.

There are a lot of features on this spotlight that make it exceptional. It is solar activated so there is no need for wires and electrical lines. It is easy to install; just stake it in the ground and angle both the solar panel and the spotlight to your preference. The light has a Hi & Lo setting for you to choose brightness (Lo last longer but Hi does last from dusk to well after I am in bed!). It also has an "off' setting for when I prefer darkness. Besides a bright white light, it also cycles through various colors for a festive effect, or any color can be "locked" so one color is constant. Great for holidays (green or red for Christmas, etc). Charges quickly; my first initial charging was about 4 hours on a hazy day and it still gave me a bright light at dark for 5 hours min (I fell asleep after that).

Versatile set of low maintenance outdoor spot lights. They charge during the day and run all night! No wires! These two lights can be hung on the siding or staked in the ground, they are great for lighting up a tree, landscaping, a decoration or your house. I use these on two large trees in the yard but will also use them to light a nativity during Christmas. Each light has several settings, white (bright light) and a color changing light that you can lock one color on. The colors are yellow, red, orange, green, blue, purple, etc. It cycles through all the colors in 20 seconds or so. For the white light (which is all I use), you can toggle hi and low which is great. The switches and light are water proof and the light can be tightened at about any angle. The solar panel is a bit large and can charge the light to run all night. A large replaceable lithium ion battery (see picture) in the panel can keep the light on all night. The type of battery is not standard and would have to be special ordered if it dies. Staking it is pretty easy and if you want to attach it to a surface, each light comes with three 1-3/8" long screws and matching 5/16" diameter anchors for masonry. The solar panel may be large but it the whole assembly is barely noticeable when staked in the ground, its so low. The only problem i've had with the lights is toggling the switches can be tricky. Sometimes they don't stay. Overall though, I am very happy with these lights. Made in China.

I had been looking for two solar lights to illuminate a 20 foot tall Organ Pipe Cactus in my back yard. These 2 Westinghouse lights do a great job (see picture). Easy to install if the ground is soft. The dirt here is rarely soft, so I ran an auger down a few inches prior to inserting the stake. The lights have several settings, from white to ever changing color LED's. I don't know yet how the lights will hold up in the intense Arizona sun, but am hopeful that they are built to last much longer than the 1 year warranty. The rechargeable 3.7 Volt lithium battery is easily replaceable if ever needed.

They’re ok, they have a limited run time on high. For ease, I give them a 4.

Already had two of them and they worked well. They charge during the day by sunlight and turn on at dusk. They stay on the whole night. They are not super bright but I am only illuminating a small sign. Seem well made. I bought two more because the first two worked so well.

They worked fine. They served their purpose.

I will be returning these. I had high hopes, and they worked at first...but were only lit up for about two hours, and would then go out. I came home last night just after dark (about two weeks after I installed them) to find them not on at all.

I live in sunny Florida and the solar cells were still ridiculously dim

I bought an onther brand and they last on longer 6+ hours, this ones only last around 4

I will have given this item five starts, but I ordered four lights (two in a box). One of the lights in one of the boxes did not work. Ttotally dead. HD was good to give me a refund credit for it though. I love these lights, otherwise.

The lights are well designed and give off decent white light. They do not work well for a large amount of colored light. There is only one LED in the center for colors. Bought to add color to holiday decorations, but had to go a different way.

I need to take back Stopped working

Does not stay on very long. Bought same product before they added the multi color option and it was great. If it can’t stay on more than a couple of hours what’s the point. I might just return and get my money back. Not happy
