Whirley Pop gas been our family popper for decades. We bought this one because it is stainless steel. We have retired the old one.

Sturdy, well built pot for popcorn!

This should last for many years. It has metal gears instead of the plastic ones that are on the cheaper aluminum version.

Really good popcorn maker. We also bought the Cuisinart Air popper and the popcorn has a funny taste and texture from that one. We did not like it. The Whirley Pop makes better popcorn.

I love this popcorn popper. I had lost a part to my old one, but this one was surprisingly even better quality. Since we are watching movies at home now, this popcorn popper goes perfectly with that & the popcorn is even better than movie popcorn. Great job Home Depot to sell this quality product!

Works great on my induction cooktop. I own both this version and the aluminum version. I had to get the stainless version after changing cooktops from gas to induction. I'd say the stainless version works as well as the aluminum, but is much sturdier. I make popcorn once or twice a week. The included popcorn is delicious and was a pleasant bonus, though for long term use I prefer to make my own with coconut oil.

I have used the Whirley Pop to make several batches of popcorn and it does make delicious popcorn. I have had the popper for about two weeks. The user must experiment to find the correct amount of cooking oil so that is not too oily from too much cooking oil and not too dry from not using enough cooking oil. The Whirley Pop does make a 1/2 cup of popcorn in three minutes. The popper has vents in the lid that allow moisture to escape during cooking which helps give the popcorn a softer texture.

Not the quality of the older one I had with the same name. Doesn't appear it will hold up as it clicks and wobbles when you turn it.

It is a truely superior product - far out classes the aluminum product. My wife and I have had our Wednesday popcorn-movie night every Wednesday for the past 20 years. We are popcorn obsessive! The stainless steel whirley-pop is definitely it for us. Thanks.
