[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid refrigerator. Spacious enough to fit food for a household of 3 people plus more. So far it has maintained its temperature. It is easy for our toddler to open the fridge but that is not whirlpools fault. Overall we are enjoy it and happy with our purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to replace my 20 year old Kenmore refrigerator which was built by Whirlpool. This model had all the features to which I was accustomed. My only concern is the motor has a loud hummm. Other than the sound, it works great.

Old house. Tiny kitchen with five doors. Yikes. Significant other's request: MUST have an ice maker. Used the current refrigerator as a template. It was on life support. Did not properly keep items in either the refrigerator, or freezer, the correct temperature. It was ancient, falling apart, and I am sure, very inefficient. The instore sales person (Portia) was an incredibly patient person. She was stellar. She took the time to help find a comparable replacement for our 20 y.o.+ unit. Needed to be on the small size. Did not want to purchase one that showed hand prints or nose prints (dogs). Did not want lightweight plastic bars for the door. They just don't hold up. The black model fit the bill. No models like it on the sales floor. So, sight unseen, ordered it. As anyone these days has found, unless the sky is the limit $$wise, you take what you can find in stock, or deliverable, within a month. Installation was quick and easy by the Home Depot delivery group. Shout out to Mel and Terrell. They were amazing! The icemaker is awesome. Fast. S/O is thrilled. Bright LED lights help me to keep it sparkling inside. The sides are no show print (textured). The front is flat, non-textured and shows every handprint. Have the warranty in case there is an issue. Overall - a solid purchase! Thank you Portia!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks great inside and out. We were a bit concerned about downsizing. It is smaller than our previous refrigerators but the size seems to be adequate. It certainly fits into the opening much better than the larger refrigerators. It is much easier to roll it out for cleaning. The larger size refrigerators we previously owned were wall to wall in the refrigerator cabinet space and were difficult to roll out. There is a dip in floor near the back of the opening which in the past has made it difficult to level previous refrigerators. This frig was easier to level in spite of that dip in the floor. This new Whirlpool refrigerator replaced a 15 year old Kenmore which experienced a sudden compressor problem. I also own a 22 year old Kenmore in the garage that is still working. I believe that 22 year old Kenmore was built by Whirlpool. I just installed a Whirlpool ice maker in it last week. I'm not sure if 15 year old Kenmore was manufactured by Whirlpool. My new Whirlpool is a great value in terms of first cost. It should be less expensive to operate than the larger units. I have not owned it long enough to evaluate the reliability.

I've had two of these fridges for less than 3 years and both are falling apart. The handles break constantly and the door shelf plate is coming off now, so it can't seal properly and is virtually useless as is. I am so disappointed with them, I will never buy Whirlpool again. The lousy 1 year warranty should have been a clue.

I looked all around for a nice refrigerator that was also a good deal. I am glad I found this one. This refrigerator is the perfect size for us, but what I love the most about it is that it is not constantly on. I have it on the coldest settings in the refrigerator and freezer and I still only hear it periodically. A lot of people have mentioned that they had poor experiences with the delivery. My delivery people were amazing! They set up the refrigerator and took our old one (cost about 15 dollars) and they were very nice.

We bought this fridge for a vacation home. Nothing fancy but works as advertised. Keeps things cold, makes ice, not very loud, decent size. We have no complaints so far and are very happy with the purchase.

My fridge suddenly died and I was living out of ice chests! I searched several web sites for the best deal and turned to Home Depot as I usually do. They had a sale going on and had this Whirlpool refrigerator on sale until the end of that day. I could have fixed my old one for about $125 but as it was almost forty years old, I ordered a new one. Since it was the holidays it was going to take two weeks for delivery. I didn't want to pick it up at the store myself (And have to worry with the old one) so I had it delivered. I had read many reviews about problems with delivery but I found it to be very efficient. The company called the day before and the morning of and they were there right on time. The two young men were very nice and did their job very well. I had to hook up the ice maker myself but that was no problem as there was just the water line. The Whirlpool cooled down very quickly and is a good looking piece of equipment. The only negative observations I had were that when I shut it down to hook up the waterline and plugged it back in, the compressor did not come back on. I was concerned because the owners manual did not mention that it had a time delay. After about fifteen min. it came on and worked flawlessly. The only other thing is that with the freezer being so large, the refrigerator part is lower than I am used to making me bend down to see all the way into the back of it. I will raise it up a few inches to help. If I had gone to the store to see it before purchasing, I could have seen this. Over all I am well Pleased with my purchase from Home Depot. I got a lot of refrigerator for a little money.

So far it works well. Maintains a good temperature (set to recommended). Good design n more space then I expected for the smaller size unit

Very nice fridge. Not too big and not too small. I am by myself now, and had a huge fridge with almost nothing in it. Did not need such a big one. This new one should be a lot cheaper to run. It is very quiet and also it comes with an ice maker which is very fast at making ice. The delivery service left a lot to be desired tho. They would not hook the water line up to the fridge, altho they were supposed to. Wouldn't even un-hook my old one. They were going to take the new one back and redeliver another time, after I had a plumber put in a new valve. I was not happy! Food all in boxes with bags of ice in them to keep cold during the transition. Turns out there was nothing wrong with the original water line valve, but i had my plumber replace it anyway. I had the delivery guys leave the new fridge here, and, bless his heart, the plumber moved out the old fridge and put the new one in place and hooked up the water line. Of course it cost me another $168.00 to do it! But plumbers are not movers! So, be aware, if they can get out of it, the delivery guys will not hook up the water to your fridge!

Best purchase experience ever!! The Home Depot Team rocks!! Keep up the great work!!

This is the loudest refrigerator I have ever purchased. It's too bad this fridge didn't work out, because it was the perfect size for my kitchen and the inside was spacious. I just could not tolerate the humming. When I called Home Depot about a repair or replacement, they were more than helpful, informing me Whirlpool told them a replacement would likely have the same results because it was how the refrigerator was designed. Needless to say, this product was returned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a piece of crap. Same as the first refrigerator & the problems I had with that one. Sick and tired of throwing away food. Ice cream is soft. Ice cubes don't stay in a drink. Lettuce is dried out, a rabbit wouldn't eat it. Onions freeze.
