It does have a little more of a humming sound than I am used to from other refrigerators I have owned. This is my first Whirlpool purchase & I am glad I made the purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a replacement for my old Maytag refrigerator. It does its job of cooling very well. The glass shelves appear to be a big improvement over the old plastic shelves that cracked all over. However, there aren’t enough shelves, so I had to buy an additional one. The main complaint I have is that, just like my old one, the vegetable crisper bin is very difficult to pull in and out. How difficult is it to manufacture a smoothly-rolling drawer???

I should have purchased fingerprint resistance. Did not think I would have this problem Can not remove spots off refrigerator. Only had fridge for about an hour. After I put items back in, tried cleaning spot with soft cloth & soap. Not working.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this to replace our 25+ yo “backup” refrigerator in the garage so anything would be an improvement but this is really turning out to be much more than we thought we needed. And for the price we paid it’s such a great value! There’s much more space than our old one even though the make and design are very similar. The look is also very sleek and stylish; I almost feel guilty “parking” it in the garage! My only “complaint” is that I wish there was better lighting; or rather, placement of lighting in the freezer. It turns out that because of the extra room, we decided to fill it up and items block most of the light that’s there. All-in-all our family of 5 is very happy!

It doesn’t cool enough, has a poor design it is so disappointing because we were looking for a functional spacious fringe. The doors of the fridge are uneven. The refrigerator is so loud. Overall I will return it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator got delivered over a week ago and has not cooled below 44 degrees Fahrenheit since then. The freezer has done better, but still has not maintained 0 degrees. The finish of the doors is poor with scratches showing up as soon as it was unboxed, and worse when installed with door not even aligning properly closed. I have since requested a return of the product and am very disappointed in the quality of appliances today.

There is a substantial gap between the gasket and the refrigerator that runs along the whole vertical side of the refrigerator door. I can feel the cool air escaping through the gap. I also don't feel that feeling of slight vacuum seal when opening the door because the door doesn't fully close. The freezer side works great with tight seal and that feeling of suction is fully present. I'm keeping the gap closed with masking tape in hopes that the door will "settle in" but I am not feeling good at the moment. Is it normal for brand new refrigerator to have gap between the gasket and the main body? This can't be normal right? Is there anything that can be done. Send help!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the refrigerator a month ago and so far I’m very happy with the storage capacity and how it keeps the food both in the freezer in the main refrigerator at the right temperature with the controls.

This appliance has lots of space and otherwise runs well. However every time I clean the doors it leaves streaks and fingerprints are easily left by lightly touching doors. This is the third appliance that they brought after we tried to get two other models. I wish now that we had just waited for the finger print less doors or gone somewhere else.

Please do your research before buying this model or working with Whirpool. The water dispenser drips all the time after using it and stains the door. Whirlpool technician exact words " we get the same complaint all the time " Additionally said, the model is cheap and does not clean well. If you are buying a refrigerator to use in a garage, maybe consider this one, if you want something nice in your home, DO NOT buy this model.

My refrigerator came missing the switch that turns on the light when the door is open. I had the repair man come fix that problem and the light does come on now but the switch doesn't fit correctly. It now has a gap above the switch and below the refrigerator plastic. I was told by repairman that the switch for my model refrigerator was no longer made and the replacement doesn't fit correctly but it was the best he could do. I was gonna return the fridge but was told by customer service that it was not returnable. I should have been more aware when I bought the thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this refrigerator for about three weeks, received it 12/23/2021. It is working well so far. My Husband has already commented on how hard the ice cream is frozen. This refrigerator is a replacement for our Kenmoore (Amana) that we bought in 1999. My hope is that this one will last as long as that one did. I purposely bought this model because it has no ice maker or water in the door hoping to avoid any reason for things to go wrong. It has plenty of room in both the refrigerator and freezer. So much so that I wish they would have added a small cold cuts/cheese drawer like my previous frig had. My only dislike so far is that its shelves have limited adjust-ability. The shelves, there are three of them, slide into molded slots in the sides of the frig with only one extra slot. The refrigerator would be way more functional if they had installed the hook type shelves with multiple racks in the back allowing for more flexibility.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Stainless Steel Side By Side Refrigerator several weeks ago and it's fabulous!!! The look is sleek and works perfect... It has so many shelves in the fridge side and the freezer side. With all the shopping recently, and I haven't been able to fill it up because it holds so much. It's roomy and so easy to organize all your groceries. I had a Top and Bottom before this one that was loud and had no room, but this Whirpool is so quiet and I've had so many compliments on it. I will get Whirlpool appliances from now on. Great reviews and durable. Fit perfect in my kitchen and would highly recommend to anyone looking for one. The others i looked at did not have the quality and sleek look as this Whirlpool. I love it and this is a great purchase!!! :-)

I purchased this Refrigerator in September 2020. I like the Stainless Steel because it looks good and I heard Whirlpool is good product. After one year both door get rusted and I am not able to clean it. wast of money, do not buy it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this refrigerator! It is very spacious and beautiful on the inside and out. It is easy to wipe clean. I always wanted a side by side refrigerator.

When I say cheaply made, oh boy. Screws are visable all over inside the freezer thats fastened to a cheap plastic backing. The entire inside lining looks thin and cheap and will not hold up. The factory left insulation foam and grease all over the place. The drawers are barely movable and attached to a glass shelf that could easily pop out. All of the glass shelves don't attach securely, instead, the shelf's plastic edge rests inside a divot on one end. For $1300 you'd expect secure, adjustable shelves, but sadly no. The worst part: The fridge doesn't cool and the freezer doesn't freeze. In fact, the freezer won't go below 50 degrees on any setting. You open the door for a few seconds and the temperature will start rising for a while after you shut it. Yes, you read that correctly and I'm not the only reviewer to state that. It does comes with "ideal temperature" settings for both the fridge and freezer. Apparently, the "ideal temperature" for a fridge is room temperature and for a freezer it's a fall afternoon. Verdict: This is a type of purchase where you become physically ill because of how awful the product is. I spent nearly $1300 for a cheaply made fridge of such poor quality and it doesn't even work. The outside looks great but once you open it, you can tell it's made of low quality materials. Just avoid this product at all costs.

Our electric bill is already a lesser amount. There is only one very disappointing issue. The side by side handles are unevenly mounted. A small thing... but a poor quality control flaw.

I needed a new refrigerator and ordered this one due to size and price. Delivery was scheduled 2 weeks out. The delivery crew did a great job getting it into my home. The interior LED lights in both sides are bright. There is a lot of room inside and the exterior looks quite elegant in my kitchen. As noted by others, it will roll towards you when opening the doors if you have it on a hard smooth surface. Mine did that on my hardwood floor. Not a problem....I just got one of those round felt pads with sticky on one side that you put under the legs of dining room chairs (which I had to keep from scratching the hardwood floors. Stuck one on the floor right in front of the left front wheel and cured that issue. This refrigerator looks really good, has tons of room inside, and the price is fair. I’m happy with this purchase.

We bought the side-by-side unit and are so pleased, we also bought another Whirlpool Refrigerator/Freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The present design of this fridge is two drawers at the bottom and 3 shelves. Due to big light at the back one cannot use the back space of that shelf. Shelf guide is so designed that one cannot adjust shelf height to utilize it fully. See attached picture. Top shelf has more space (height) without use. We suggest change design and height of the shelf guide so to use the space fully. It is a good idea to add small 6” or 9” height drawer in middle similar to Kennmore fridge. We wanted to buy in color black but it was not available.
