It’s primed and it has an easy adhesión to enamel, not too beat up, price twice as much as the local lumber yard, but convenient enough. Good for small jobs.

This baseboard works great even on finished cabinets. My cabinet installer damaged the bottom of the rear panel for an island and we needed to cover the bottom few inches to make the project work. I bought this base moulding and the island ended up looking better than it would had we not installed any trim at all. And best of all the finish of the wood is smooth, so we were able to paint it with color matched paint and it literally looks just like the cabinets.

On most things I really like using Home Depot but I'm learning it's not the place for quality trim. I did not notice until I got home that there was a slight difference in some of the boards especially the top line which would be noticed on outside corners. Actually the back of the boards had a different profile and the ones with a coped out backside would have to be shimmed when on the mitersaw to sit square. I don't mind finger-jointed under paint however some had the top half of the board butt-joint glued to a bottom piece. The primer was also terrible and required lots of presanding before painting. The primer was so low of quality that you cannot keep a wet edge and it felt like dragging your brush across Velcro which required heavy sanding before the second coat. Overall very dissatisfied with the base as it required way too much labor that should not have been necessary. Next time I'll find a specialty shop and gladly pay more for better quality.

Good baseboard material for a family rooom redo. In the store I had to dig through the pile since many of the boards looked like they had been used as flooring, they had dark shoe prints all over them. I picked the good ones. Pieces were good and consistent, mitres went together evenly.

Quality matches price point. Alot more scuffs in the primer than you would typically see but thats probably from them being shuffled around by other customers too

The gentlemen that help us was a really pleasant person. He works in the plumbing section, but since nobody from the wood section responded the call for help, I asked him if he could call somebody because we had been waiting for 20 minutes. He looked for the wood area person but couldn’t find the guy so he said he could help us but he said “ I don’t have exierience in this area but I’ll try to help if I can” and he did. First time we have an encounter with a smiling polite worker. My husband really enjoyed asking for what he needed, we didn’t felt like we were an nuisance like other times.

These baseboards are beautiful and simple, elegant! They really looks fantastic. So glad I went with these. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is at least 2 boards were a little warped and at least one chip or imperfection on each board. Was able to work around it though.

Pretty poor quality for $2.26/ft. Uneven primer application, lots of blemishes. Should be more than a $1.00/ft for this level of quality.
