Good looking and works well
Good looking. Looks high end. Works well. Not as big inside as I had hoped but still very good. Make sure it is connected to hits own dedicated line and the installer follows the install directions exactly. Then your good to go

Very impressed and satisfied
We've been looking for a classic range since last year. The unit that came with our new home had backsplash controls, which we thought was odd and dangerous. Whoever thought that was cool must be fired (jk). Anyway, this range is amazing, works and performs just as advertised. The burners are like rocket engines. I wish there was a way to lower the flames to simmer levels though. But overall, my husband and I are very impressed and satisfied with our purchase.

Oven problems
I bought this 1 year ago. The heating element connector and wire in the oven melted. Zline said they have a problem with doors not sealing properly and are sending me a new range. All zline ranges with an oven fan button on the right side were recalled. This unit did not have the carbon monoxide issue but still worth noting. I will never buy this brand again.

Fit for our kitchen!
I feel lucky to have found this site when I was looking for new items for our kitchen. We've been renovating since fall and we're about to finish before winter is in full swing. This purchase is going to be just in time for Christmas. I know it will come in handy, considering that we're inviting a few people not just for Christmas but also to bless our new house. It's nice to start the new year with a fully furnished kitchen.

Great product!
Wasn't my first choice but after reading up a bit and checking some independent reviews. I figured it's worth trying out, especially because it's below my original budget range. When we got it, the guys who delivered and rolled it into my kitchen were very nice. They also explained a bit how to operate and take care of the range, althought the operation is pretty straightforward. I can't thank them enough for the awesome service.

Practical and wise buy!
I'm a practical buyer so I tend to check each item I buy meticulously. But when you're doing it online, it's difficult to be picky because you never know what you'll end up buying. As for Zline and this store, I've never had any problems. When I bought this range, I knew it's going to be fantastic. I've heard enough good stories involving Zline ranges from relatives and friends over the years. My mom has one. She bought it when it was still much cheaper.

I'm just fascinated by this machine.
The first time I saw this range, I immediately fell in love. My mind just started to conjure up images of it in my kitchen for some reason. But I do have a few questions. What does that tiny gap below the steel frame at the top back side do? Is it a vent? Does it suck heat or steam from the stovetop like the base of my OTR? I'm anxious to know because it seems like all components of this range have a purpose. I'm just fascinated by this machine.

Amazing item!
I am really glad we picked this over the stainless steel. They both perform well, but this black one preserves its sleek finish longer. I mean a friend of mine just bought a stainless steel range recently and it already has visible scratches on its surface. Not the porcelain stovetop because that's tought to scatch but the stainless steel rest next to the knobs. In terms of firepower, this one's a beast. No doubt.

Oven doesn’t come to temp after two failed models.
We are on our third stove with z line. The ovens have all failed to come up to temperature, maintenance hasn’t been able to correct the problem leading to two replacements and now our second replacement is presenting with the same issue. We will not be purchasing through z line again unfortunately. Stove top and functionality we loved but seems there’s issue with design/quality of parts. Hassle altogether.

My sister loved it so much!
Bought one for my sister for her wedding. She couldn't believe it. After all, they were thinking of moving to their own home quickly but still worry about furniture and stuff. She loved it so much.

Nice looking unit that functions well.
Nice looking unit that functions well. Seems to be well built for the money. Burners are adjustable which was a nice surprise and since we are on propane it was nice to be able to get the minimum heat down. .

was great the few times it actually worked
We have had the broiler coil short out once and lower heating element burn out twice. Zline did send replacement parts but i gather this is a common issue.

Great cooktop, crappy oven
We bought this because we love to cook but had a budget. The burners are good, seem to get fairly hot (not like a commercial range, but fine) Clean up isn’t the easiest, but, again, fine.
It’s the oven that has us frustrated. The heating element gave out within a year and took months to get answers for repair/replacement. We ended up with a replacement, but both units have had very slow ovens, even on convection. Like, double the time for baking. I got better results with my old Kenmore.

DO NOT buy without reading this
I purchssed Zline RA 36 in 09/2018 from HD. Bake & Broil function stopped working in November 2021. My HD protection package was frustraing and of no help. No ONE, NO ONE will service Zline in my area! So disappointed with HD plan and Zline product support. We did attempt to repair...we are more than $500 into this attempt and it is still not working. Check your area for service options prior to purchasing. Zline customer service is very difficult to contact.

Great product!
Buying a cooking range, or any kitchen appliance for that matter, is more nerve-wracking than I thought. And it makes sense since this is an expensive item. It takes knowledge and experience with kitchen appliances, too. So, I made it a point to get my wife involved in the decision even thought it was meant as a surprise. I thought it's better that way than to end up with an item she doesn't want. This is the one she picked, and I can tell how satisfied she is by how delicious our meals are.

Should have bought a Viking or Wolf

Disapointing Performance and Customer Service
Range top is nice and works well, oven is much smaller than I was expecting, oven takes a long time to heat up and is often 15-30 degrees below set temp, have contacted customer service multiple times and no help from them. I hate that the light doesn't come on when you open the door

Satisfied with its performance and quality!
It's difficult to choose which item to buy because there are already tons of brands, each claiming they offer the best products. So I admit that buying this particular model was for us a risk. But then the range itself has proven us wrong. It is on its own league when it comes to performance and quality. We are very satisfied with our purchase.

Exceptional all around
As a professional Chef, I couldn't ask for a better home range. I waited many years to redesign our home kitchen and was not familiar with the Zline brand. I LOVE our range/oven! The customer service within the company is also extraordinary which is a huge plus and says so much of the folks backing the product. Exceptional all around.

Does not cook evenly
I'm not sure I've ever written a review on a product but I thought I may try and save someone else from making the mistake of buying this stove. This oven does NOT cook evenly and 90% whatever is towards the back of the oven burns where the front is still not done.

Lovely and durable!
I'd rather buy this range than the typical luxury brands I see advertised on tv. I mean, it may not look like it, but it's a solid choice if you're looking to invest in something that will last for many years. I've only had my unit for a few months but I can already tell how durable this is.
