Simple and easy to use! Perfect for couples and/or people living alone.

The numbers in the inner chamber of the cooker are confusing. The first time we attempted to make three cups of rice. We put in three cups of water, in accordance with what we thought were the directions based on the markings on the inside of the inner chamber. The rice was soggy and water blew out the steam vents and all over the counter. It worked better when we measured by volume.

Quick cook time. Works good. Much better than the old one.

Runs too hot and leaves rice half raw. I threw it out after a week.

Smaller than I thought for 6 cup but works well.

Happy with this purchase, especially the steamer as it’s not made of plastic. Highly recommended if you do steaming quite often and it’s just, fill up the cooker with water, put on the steaming rack , switch the cooker on and your done..

You need to wash the rice well to keep it from boiling over. There’s no chime when it’s done. Washing the rice in the cooker may damage the non-stick coating. All minor things that are room for improvements, but otherwise it’s good. )

Reliable long lasting rice cooker. My first Zojirushi lasted 10 years and only got replaced when the glass lid cracked.

Delivery very fast. The rice cooker is easy to use; however, the lid doesn’t fit well on the rice cooker.

Very compact. the rice wasn’t fluffy like other rice cookers and there it left some burnt rice at the bottom.

I follow manual directions and still get gummy rice. Loose fitting lid, is this spec? Hot, foamy water oozes out of edges. Dissatisfied with product.

Works as expected. It is a space saver and could make enough rice for a meal and some left over.

Just a great, simple rice cooker. It does what it’s supposed to do which is to make perfect rice in under 20 minutes and is quite easy to clean.

I've been looking to buy a healthy to use high quality rice cooker. Zojirushi is a prestigious brand. I did a deep research on their us website trying to find something safe like ceramic or stainless steel cooker. This was the only stainless steel mentioned on their site. The home depot description mentions that the cooking pot is actually "non-stick", i.e. teflon, but I did not read it properly. Interestingly enough, Zojirushi offers ceramic pot cookers in Japan. You figure if you want to support a company like that. Returned it and bought almost identical one by Aroma - half price and actually stainless steel.
