This actually is a true dusk to dawn solar light. Installation was easy. At dusk it turns on very bright for about 5 hours and then dims down approx to 25% of it power for the rest of night. Dawn comes and the light goes off and recharges during the day for another night of great light. I use it to light up the garage door that has our address above it and now it shine great at night and visitors can see easily, It also illuminates the drive way so when my wife comes in at night it is lit for her. It has been running for a week so the long term I don't know, but it is built solid so I expect many years of light in the future.

I have installed three of these light systems on the south elevations that were poorly lit for home security.

cost effective solution. good battery life and the photocell work great.The solar cells charge even in the shade.

Excellent quality very nice light.

The light performs perfectly. The only issue was that a bracket had to be fabricated to place the light slightly above and in front of a 8' wide, 4' high sign to properly disperse the illumination across the entire sign.

Device was defective. Would not turn on after several days of charging in bright sunlite. Returned to local store for refund.
