Its a nice color & feels good underfoot. Slight odor for a couple days and laid down nicely & wouldn't say a rug pad is necessary. Watch to not step on the tassle knots as they can be painful with barefeet. I'm good about reading reviews so I was surprised at the flaws throughtout the rug. I'll hold onto it since a good part of the rug is underneath furniture.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with this jute rug, to say the least. Despite being advertised as pet-friendly, it's anything but. Any pet accidents would be next to impossible to remove, especially considering jute rugs cannot be cleaned with any form of water. This also applies to any food spills, drink spills, you name it. Your best bet is professional intervention, if there’s any hope in removing it at all. Additionally, it sheds excessively, requiring constant cleaning to maintain a tidy space. The rug also has thick, dark, wood-like pieces sticking out in different places, which doesn’t look the best nor does it feel great on bare feet. There are also noticeable holes from knotted-off fibers that can’t be hidden, which also make it unsightly. Finally, even though it came out of the packaging smelling like a barnyard, I figured I would still give it a chance. Biggest regret! I was so excited to get this into my new space and was nothing but disappointed. Definitely pass on this if you’re considering it!!!

While it seems to be a decent quality rug, I’m am very disappointed with the color. The navy rug is actually a bright blue and not anywhere close to the color of the pictures. This is the second rug I’ve ordered from RugsUSA and the second time I’ve been disappointed in what I’ve received. I only purchased this rug because I received a gift card code due to the another rug I purchased from Rugs USA having an unraveling issue after I was no longer able to return it. They are going to charge me $26 dollars to return this one, so it’s just not worth the hassle to return. It will be the last rug I ever order from Rugs USA. There are many other online retailers with better products.

Happy with the style, but it is definitely NOT “baby pink” as advertised…favors purple or lilac.

Not the size it says. The description says this rug is 9.6x12.6 but it’s 9x12 ft. The rug is a pretty color but need a rug pad because it slides around and you get pulls in the weaving.

I bought this rug 6 months ago and it sheds terribly. The bedroom feels dirty due to the rug: fibers coat the floor, stick to my clothing, float in the air, and quickly clog my vacuum. I vacuum as advised: without the roller, on low, and parallel to the grain. My house guest was so disgusted that he rolled it up and brought in an air purifier. Photos attached show the full vacuum canister after a single pass. I vacuumed less than a week ago before this too.

Round 8' rug came folded and has no tassels. Hate the cloth strip. Off white color is more buttercream.

This run is beautiful but is already unwoven in a couple of areas in less than a month. I have had several natural fiber rugs and know how to care for them. I purchased the ivory for a hallway runner. The color is beautiful but sadly the rug already looks as if it needs to be replaced.

I will be ordering it for a third time, I ordered it for myself first then a gift and ordering it for another room in my house. It helps me since I have a little ones and they drop stuff everywhere and it has been pretty stain resistant.

This was my 1st purchase with Rugs USA, and I will be a repeat customer. Purchased the chunky fringed jute in ivory for my covered patio. I previously spent almost twice from another seller, and the “ivory” rug I ordered was very tan, and not nearly as nice as this one. Color is true to what you see advertised in pics. It’s even nicer in person. Sturdy, and laid down flat and perfectly as soon as it was unrolled. Now that I know how nice they are I plan on getting a larger one for dining room. Def recommend this jute. as well as the company.

Looks great but I literally have to buy another rug to layer over it because it is so hard and rough on my feet. Really disappointed no one mentioned this in the reviews

I bought 3 of these rugs a few months ago and wished I hadn’t. They look nice but shed so badly. They smelled moldy at first but it dissipated after a few days. The shedding is dirty and unending. If you have dogs or cats, their claws snag the rug, pulling out the weave. It’s easy to push loose ends back in with scissors but I prefer maintenance free rugs. The fringes became frayed from foot traffic so I cut them off. This helps with the mess but I would not buy these rugs again!

Just received this rug and I will admit it is very beautiful, but and this is a big but, it is very scratchy and rough on your feet, I have purchased other jute rugs that were not nearly this rough, I would be returning if I could, but that isn’t an option as I am from Canada. Also be aware that the ivory color definitely has a more yellow tone than the photos portrayed, still it does look great :))

The fringe edge is a mess. It is frayed and unraveling terribly. Too much of a hassle to return. Buyer beware.

Gorgeous rug, so so gorgeous, BUT it smells weird. It smells like it was in the dirt in a rainstorm. So strange, it’s not horrible, just smells like it’s been in wet soil. It’s still really gorgeous, I’ll just let it air out for a few weeks in the basement.

The rug it’s self is nice and great quality. My only complaint is the tassels at the end of the rug unravel and leaves a rug looking, pretty nappy.

I bought this because it said great for dogs. It snags easily and if any liquids spill on it (including water) it leaves stains even after drying it and soaking up with water.
