Has what you need, but employees take a "can't be bothered" attitude and some are outright rude. Tried to buy something listed on sale (price and item number on a sign), it didn't ring up on sale. First cashier at the front offered no solution so we decided to go to the garden center, where the item was from, to purchase it thinking the cashier there would be more knowledgeable about the product. Again it rang up as the wrong price, husband took a photo of the sign and employee typed in the item number. Rang up wrong again. Employee said 'I don't make the signs" and told my husband to go talk to a manager. Husband walked to customer service to get a manager who immediately recognized the issue and was going to correct it, but he was fed up and did not want to walk back to the garden center and deal with it after such poor service from 2 separate cashiers. Neither cashier offered any solution on their own, and telling a customer to go to the service desk and wait in line when the cashier could have called a manager to come to the register to help was almost as inconsiderate and shrugging and saying "I don't make the signs," especially when the sign says a price that is 60% less than the price the register is ringing up - that's kind of a big deal.

Be sure to hang on to Dave (I think that's his name) in the Tool Repair Dept. He is 1 in a million! So efficient, skilled, quick & pleasant to talk with. He also gave me a tip to increase longevity of my chainsaw. What a pleasant experience, especially as a woman customer!

Not as bad as some other places

I have sent a 5 star review on yelp for Boom Lim in Bellevue Wa Home Depot store. He has been helpful when ever we make big purchases at Home Depot and we are writing to let you know.

This is regarding the tool rental part of the store. Manager/lead Aaron was very rude. Didn't listen and literally argued with me. Had other customer behind me mention that he wasn't listening to what I said. They add damage protection automatically and you have to ask for it to be removed. Aaron also questioned if the tool would work and was surprised when I mentioned it worked great. He made sure to let me know that I would still have to pay for rental if it didn't work out, which is obvious! Selection of tool rentals was great, wish it was at another store.

Seems like when you need help you can't find it but the employees just hang out in front. I asked them a question and they didn't even know what the tool was. Return lines are always long and they usually have one person doing it while there are three other people just talking along the side. Return lady was rude and annoyed. She even told me to rip and take my receipt from the machine.

This is my second visit to a home Depot since I have come to USA on a visit from India. To get all household improvements needs under a single roof, quality products, reasonable prices is a treat to see. It lets the customer ample time to choose and compare the prices.

We really want to say "thank you" to Daniel S. We bought all the railing balusters in our Federal Way store. But we need more. Store reps pointed us to your store. For some reason those new balusters were not in the shelves when we arrived and nobody could find them. We really appreciate that Daniel took it seriously, went somewhere and finally found them. It really saves our trip from Federal Way expenses and helps us to continue our project. Thank you Daniel!

Home Depot associates are usually available, friendly, and helpful which is why despite my latest experience, I would still recommend the store. My last visit was an unfortunate experience in the Returns area which is the only reason I am not rating this store with 5 stars. There were 2 associates for 2 customers (one of which was me). For whatever reason, both associates assisted the male customer and ignored me. Once they were finished, they helped a 3rd male customer, who was behind me. When I spoke up, they claimed to not have seen me - I was holding a mop, I don't know how they could not have seen me. These associates need to be better trained to not ignore female minority customers.

Great, helpful employees who really care. Alla in the Garden Center is a wonderful person who goes out of her way to make your experience in her section enjoyable.

We had a water heater that went bad at 9:00 pm on a Friday, just in time for the store to be closing. We called the Issaquah store and they said, "sorry, but we are closed". So disappointing. So we tried the Bellevue store and the assistant Manager, Cylina, said, "yes, we are still here and will stay open to help you. What great customer service! Ron stayed and helped load my new water heater in my truck and Jamie rung up my purchase. I am sure they would have rather have been home but stayed to help me in my time of need. Overall, a GREAT experience and highly recommend this store as the people there really care about their customer and their needs.

I am usually not a hardware store shopper but as my grandsons get older I have decided that I need to buy useful items for them. I drive by the Bellevue Home Depot often and I think it's the BEST store for getting tools. I know other stores have the same thing, but this store has something the others don't; This store has KNOWLEDGEABLE HELP for women like me. What a relief! The sales people aren't the only GREAT store asset....the lady who checks you out waits just on YOU. She doesn't chew gum, answer other people's questions, or talk about her "break" to other employees. She smiles, and does the job in a COURTEOUS, RESPECTFUL MANNER. If you live in Bellevue go to Home Depot off NE 8th on 120th and wait in Ramona's line. She will renew your faith in sales. (No...I AM NOT RELATED!)

what I like most about this store is that it is store 4711 --which is the name of the perfume my mother used to wear --so when I go to this store it brings back pleasant memories.

This weekend I replaced the sink cabinet and faucet of one of my bathrooms. I didn't do this before and had no idea how to replace the plumbing and faucet and connections. I didn't know what pieces to buy. I asked to Bellevue Home Depot personnel and they were very helpful. They showed me which pieces to buy and described me how to assemble them. They were very kind and patient. Also cashier was very kind and friendly and also offered me to apply for Home Depot credit card for an instant $50 discount. And it just took 1 minute and I approved for credit card and got 50$ discount. Also previous day when I took 10% competitive company's discount they applied it without asking any question. Very clean and super store that you can find whatever you are looking and employees are very helpful and friendly and helps for the discounts. Very customer focused and friendly environment. Keep up the good work. Thank you very much. Home Depot is always my first address to visit for shopping.

The location of the store is extremely convenience with 405 near it and Best Buy, Homegoods, Trader Joe's all located around it. Most of the employees were friendly and helpful and had great attitudes towards customers. The products I was looking for was very easy to find with the help of the big signs and workers. I actually bought way more than expected especially since it was Black Friday today. I was able to get the assistance I needed but I had to wait for quite a big amount of time because there were many many customers and only one employee at the appliance counter. The store was fairly clean and enjoyable to shop in, even though the smell in some aisles are not pleasant but that is acceptable due to the fact that this store sells things that are kind of smelly. Since I've been to Home Depot for at least twice a week for the past month since I just bought a house, my overall shopping experience is great and will definitely choose Home Depot over other home stores.

Purchased a new front door that was part of a promotional sale. Chose to have Home Depot do the installation which required an in Home measure even though it was a standard size. Took them 10 days to arrive for measure. Returned to store to finalize the order after the required measure. Store stated the promotion had expired so they increased the price of the door even though the delay was due to the store contractors delay...

In this era of home improvement stores carrying virtually the same merchandise, what differentiates one store from the other is customer service. In multiple visits I've found the associates at this store to be pleasant and courteous and genuinely helpful.
