Michelle in the Flooring Department was especially helpful and understanding when she helped me 2 weeks ago. I spent multiple visits and calls trying to find a solution to an online custom roller shade order through the Custom Home Collection that went horribly wrong. Fortunately, Michelle went completely out of her way to help my find some kind of solution to mount the shades. To this day I am still having trouble completing the project but I am glad that I had Michelle to help me figure something out.

They have animal resin statues with air plants on them. They are so realistic with their coloring and features. The air plant always dies, but I just put my own fake plant there. I am addicted to them. I have at least 20 of them now. This facility is well stocked and very neat and clean. The employees there are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable at what they do. They are always busy doing something not just waiting for a break like at some places. I had to have their giraffe statue, but his legs were broken, so I asked the manager if I could have anything off of the price and I would fix them myself. She gave them to me for almost half price. What a deal. My husband wanted a hand sander so he looked it up before we went to get it to make sure they had one. Well, that's all, they had 1. The sight told us which isle, and which bay it was in. We went and looked in the isle and bay. We couldn't see it so we asked a guy working in that dept. He stopped what he was doing and started looking high and low for that item. He found it after a few minutes, and all is well that ends well. The employees at this facility go above and beyond the call of duty to help you. I would highly recommend this facility for all your home improvements.

Looking for help, ended up at Pro service got the most helpful employees telling me how I could save money. I ended up getting a credit card , and saved money in a program over $1,500 . I really appreciate all the information and friendly service.

Last time I bought three bottles of water and as I was about to load them on my pickup truck a gentleman approached and offered to load them for me. That was great because my truck bed is high and I always have trouble loading them. The employee's name was Manny. This employee is definitely customer focused.

I shop the Home Depot El Monte a few times a week. I'm a DIY home owner. It's my second home. Larry (MacGyver as he's called), because he always figures things out for me. He's friendly and patient and knows his stuff. All the staff is great, but Larry is Superman

Even though they didnt have gas post driver i needed, Victor listened and learned abut the tool, called other stores frim me. Gave some bew leads, then walked me to another experienced associate Ed, who gave me more leads. If everyone could do this I wouldnt need The internet. Excellent!

Waited almost 45 minutes for a can of paint which apparently was ready and the employee never informed me about although I was standing there the whole time

Just coming from a previous home depot in Monrovia, where they "had" inventory but could not locate it, Jesus and Octavio, and Johnny sorted it out and got me my goods really quickly. Kudos to Johnny and his driving skills (did you know a fork lift steers from the back?) but Jesus says he's better......Christian and Yvette and Alexandra all helped me get my wife to smile. See you folks soon.

My husband and I are first time home owners. We have no experience with painting or any type of home repair. The young man Jonathan from the paint department @ Home Depot El Monte explained the whole process of making our home a home. Took the time to explain the process of preparation and what paint to use for each of the rooms. Also helped us choose colors and helped us modernize our place. We were blown away because we never knew painting education was so intense. Luckily, we met Jonathan, he answered all our questions and even encouraged us to do it ourselves. Very encouraging person and teacher. He even threw in the Home Depot slogan, where doers get more done. It was hilarious because he sounds like a true company man/ sales person. But I can tell he’s so genuine and confident because he gave us his schedule and extension to his department for any questions or concerns. He didn’t give up til we felt confident about ourselves as well. Whoever is reading this, make sure you ask for Jonathan from the paint department. He knows more than his own section. I can’t wait til we have more money to improve our new home, I’m definitely coming back and looking for him to help us. We are broke this Christmas, but the fact that our home is in the process of looking better because of him, made it the best Christmas as a new home owner and as a new married couple trying to get things done ourselves. We now live the Home Depot slogan. We are doers and we will get more done. I can’t thank him enough. I wish I could no more. He didn’t even accept a tip, told us to use it for our future projects. Made me want to cry to see a young person be so graceful and full of life. I told Jonathan, no matter what I purchase. I will keep doing these surveys and reviews for him. I’m also sending all my friends and family to him. Today was a great day. Thank you Home Depot El Monte.

I was in Home Depot to match a specific paint color and they were very helpful.

When the contractor showed up with the wrong stain, I immediately called El Monte. Jonathan from paint made everything better from the phone call to the final product of what I needed in the first place. He’s truly a great asset to the store and full of energy and enthusiasm. Great personality and very funny. I’m definitely doing my future projects with his help.

Jonathan at Paint Dept is very professional , fast , and efficient . He goes out of his way to replace and adjust the paint color I am looking for . I am happy with his service and knowledge .

A++ rating to Justin for his ability to calmly, decently handle a customer service problem better than the manager on duty. He's destined for bigger things in your store.

Employees are helpful but you need to ask. If the guy they call Sergeant is around ask him. He gets the job done.

All employees are very helpful and women are represented in their employees. I always feel comfortable shopping for items and everyone is very resourceful.

We were doing a 1st time painting project & Jonathan came to our rescue! He explained to us the different options & instructed us on how to use it. First time we've had such great service. Informative & very nice. Jonathon was super knowledgeable about the many products HD has to offer. We will definitely be returning to HD for future projects.

Carolina rang up two separate purchases and assisted with the cash payment into the machine. I forgot a 16 inch spring by the counter, totally my fault. I called and Manny answered the phone. He told Carolina and she wrote a note to hold for customer until after work. I went after work and Manny new right where the spring was. Super great team, doing there job the right way. Thank you.

I found the EL MNTE branch (compared to PAS and MON) to have the best in-stock items in garden center. Also the Associates are generally helpful and courteous to assist and serve. Mid-mornings are best for shopping, traffic and parking.
