June and Francell gave outstanding service. They were helpful and knowledgeable about products I might need and went out of their way to locate and provide them. They did so with respect, courtesy, humor, and friendliness. Mind you, this was on Sunday, Dec. 6 when the store was crowded. Home Depot is sooooo lucky to have them on staff. THANK YOU BOTH for my best ever Home Depot experience. PS. I am visiting from the east coast and do not know either of these kind staff menbers.

The store was awesome, the store cleanliness was 6/10 only because I understand that it was days after black friday. So no biggie. Other than that, very helpful and cheerful associates.

I recently purchased some new kitchen appliances on sale at Home Depot. I intended to use the Home Depot Credit Card and avoid paying interest for 6 months. There was a technical difficulty in getting my card activated to complete the transaction. I ended up working with several different associates who went out of their way to get this done. I could not believe how committed they were to making sure I had my transaction complete. I want to especially thank Merci, Joahanne, Shamyara, Ryan and especially Eboni who went out of here way to make this happen. What an awesome crew!

This is our favorite Home Depot store even though it is farther away from our home than the nearest one. The selection of available items fits our home-improvement needs quite well, and we appreciate the friendliness of many of the associates helping us finding items and explaining specific features when needed. Our experience with the kitchen designers was very good, especially with Joel and Mercy.

A cheerful staff was available throughout the store and helpful in locating products.

The associate in lawn and garden not only helped me find and select quality plants she assisted me in finding items in other departments and when my carts were full (I had 4 filled) she brought them to the cashier area and brought me another empty. The cashiers in the garden dept. kept an eye on my carts and were helpful in loading too. Thanks!!!

Thank you Gerald for your help in cobbling together a bunch of plumbing fittings that have allowed me to hook up an ice maker and dishwasher. You know your plumbing fittings and tools, and I couldn't have done it without you.

Compared to other area Home Depot Stores, the Emeryville store has good support even though a high volume busy store.

The buying the new over the range microwave from Trish, sales associate was totally awesome experience. She was the very good listener, and good at grasping the customer needs. She recommended the product which was solid made, yet reasonable. She impressed me with going an extra mile; she assured people were happy with the product by checking the product reviews. She also gave me a great discount on delivery charge. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new appliance.

Store associate walked with me across the whole store to show me where the product was That I needed. Ane he was friendly and talkative the whole way.

Everything I needed was in stock. The lady with the handheld device at checkout was helpful in keeping the line going.

Tuesday night, 3 November. Like most people these days, I was in a hurry; it was late; I had an appointment at 1800 hr, and I needed a mixing tool. I complained to Painting Associate Quinana that the paint mixer available was too flimsy for multiple cans of paint and mud. She nodded thoughtfully, and led me off to hardware. I lost sight of her for a minute, then she popped up with just what I needed: a 2-blade metal mixer applicable to my cordless drill. Thank you, young lady - you save us time and money. You deserve a raise, a 2-week (paid) vacation to Hawaii and a double Christmas bonus!

Laticia Williams was the Appliance Specialist at the Emeryville, California Home Depot where I shopped. I had to buy a new stove for a cottage that my wife and I rent out as a small business. Ms. Williams was EXCELLENT! Personable, knowledgable, timely, efficient, and smart! You don't often get that kind of quality attention at the large superstores of today. She was special! She was really good. She knew what she was doing. If you're smart, you'll keep that woman happily employed for years to come. She will make a customer want to come back again.

I visit this Home Depot store quite often. Although it is not always easy to find an associate, when you talk to one, they usually have good knowledge of the store. I find the associates in the garden department friendlier and happier than the rest of the store. My go-to-person there is Judy. She offers help when she sees you looking lost. She is very knowledgeable about plants. You can tell that she loves her job and gardening.

Sampson (sales associate) was extremely helpful and courteous. Though, HD did not have the lawn mower I wanted there, I found out I could order it online.

I found the Black and Decker Model BC15BD battery charger/starter/desulfator. Lily and Mike pulled the product from the shelves and leave it at customer service for me to pick up. I would prefer that Home Depot offer a Black and Decker model, which has diagnostic functions for a battery and tools to test the gravity of the acid in batteries.

In the PAST.. the only person who EVER helped me before: John Ball... ($2.5K finishing my double glazed doors & windows). I lost track of how many helpful folks were patiently helping me yesterday... !! Awesome improvement. V-NICE

Often crowded but the Tool area is always great. The newest round of employees are much better versed in customer service.

I visited the store to purchase paint & doors/windows. The associates in both departments were very helpful & friendly. I got the guidance I needed and left the store feeling comfortable with my choices/decisions with the help from the associates

This store doesn't need any help in customers, it is very busy. The reason I choose this over others in my area is that the staff have all been first rate In their politeness and helpful manner.

The employee who helped me to select appropriate wood planks, was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional.

Mr. Lee helped us load our Honda 2 minutes before the store closed. The associates here are great!
