love the store close to home employees always willing to help great selection

Very good

The Enfield store has staff that is very accomodating and they strive on making sure you get all your needs addressed. Purchased appliances recently and the store clerk even called to check and see if the installation went well. Very impressed.

I went to the store to get some things with my daughter and Mindy in the hardware dept. was extremely helpful. She answered all the question on the tools that I needed and helped me pick the correct one. Next I went into the lumber dept. and was looking for wood and cement to repair a deck and fence. Glen helped me pick out the correct wood he offered free estimates for a contractor to come out and showed me the different types of cement and helped me pick the one I needed. He spent a lot of time with me showing me the different types of fencing. I will definitely come back and see Mindy and Glen they were awesome.

Their hard wood floor delivery guys are hard working guys who do their work without even accepting any gratuity. Carrying over 100 plank boxes of hard wood flooring down 60+ steps during a very cold fall season.

A GOOD STORE

I find Store #6214 is always clean, shelves are fully stocked and organized. I always find what I'm looking for sometimes with the help of an employee like today, it was Associate Lucy, HDI who made my trip to H.D. a smooth trip. I'm all set to wrap basement water pipes to keep them from freezing. Thank you for going out of you way to help me find the correct items I needed.

The Home Depot in Enfield, CT has everything folks need for whatever project they are working on. I always find the item(s) I need for each of my projects and when I need assistance, there is always an associate around to help me with questions or locating what I am looking for. Plus the associates are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the store is always clean and I am in this store often. This store is the best

Store associates are friendly, and will help you with the product you need. If they don't know the answer to your question, they will find someone that can help. Also, the store is well organized and clean.

Good Job

I walked into the Enfield Home Depot with a strange request : I need 2" thick moisture board cut into 16"x20" pieces to help winterize my bee hives. The two employees who came to my assistance said they'd never had a request like that before... Could I wait a few minutes while they found what they needed to do the job? In 15 minutes, the board was cut down and I was loading it into my car. Best service I've had a store in a long time...just like the old days! I gave their names to the manager, and it was my pleasure to complete the store survey to make sure they got the special recognition they deserve!

It is always a pleasure to be able to go to a single well-equipped store to find a wide variety of parts to complete whatever you are working on. There is no comparison of quantity and quality in a single location.

I appreciate the team at the Paint counter! They're all knowledgable about the products, give tips to avoid problems and are helpful in picking sheens. Marquee paint is comparable to SW or BM products and better priced. It's nice when it's combined with lower prices and better service than the name brand stores.

Three different people helped us out during our visit and acted as though they wanted to help us. It was a good feeling and you should be proud of this store's employees!!

The Enfield CT Home Depot is the only store of its type in the area. It's generally a good store to buy tools and materials but the counter help definitely do not perform to a high standard of excellence. Contrast this to Lowes in Springfield MA which is a bit of a ride but their help will practically jump over the counter. This is no accident. I attribute this to management philosophies. If I have the time I'll always go to the Springfield Lowes.

The staff is always very helpful here. No matter what time of day I shop, I can always find someone to help me locate an item. I find that they go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy and have found what they actually came in to buy. The prices are also reasonable compared to other home improvement stores. The store is always clean and neatly organized for being a home improvement store. I can also expect good quality with whatever I buy as well or I can return it for my money back without a problem.

Store had issues with stock being in the right places. Store has issues with maintaining stock of items that would not be on the shelf or on a peg. I was looking for plumbing adapters and in general there were parts in the wrong locations or bins. This causes someone to reach into a bin or pull something to put in their cart and later find that the item was in the wrong bin or location. When you then go back to see if you can find the right part, you find the bin full of the wrong part or lacking the part that is supposed to be there. When I would look for someone to help me locate an item I would have to search for an employee sometimes walking around looking for someone for more than 5 minutes. My time is valuable too. Many times I would go to get something specific and it would take me far more time than it should require. This makes me try to go to another store where the items I am looking for are in the right locations and an employee is there to help me either find the part or make sure they order it so I can pick it up at a later time once they call or email me that the item is waiting for me. They need to have employees straighten up the inventory and make sure items are where they should be and inventory stock is maintained in a timely manner.
