Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals event?

Another big spring sale is here, so get ready to save money. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you need. Don't forget to check out our mulch, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products year-round.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be confident your home is ready for wild temperature swings by replacing faulty parts of your home. On the outside of your house, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that could let water leak inside. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to snow and ice storms. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture freezes in the cracks, you might be in for a headache.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Why should I get a generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

Which project is featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on May 2, 2026. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this adorable keepsake box that fits all kinds of treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave enough time to decorate your box with stickers!
