New story layout and sales associates
Like the new store layout with appliances.

I love the new Bathroom and Kitchen addition
This is one of the largest Home Depot that I have visited. They just opened a new section for kitchen and bathroom and I find it very nice. They have enough personnel to support you with your questions and are very friendly. This will be my number one choice from now on!
I visited the bathroom and was really clean.

Excellent Garden Help
Associate working in the garden dept. was the most knowledgeable I have even encountered. I' am so sorry that his name escapes me but I know he is a master gardener and has expertise working with orchids. What a "breath of fresh air" to have an expert on hand to help me with the complexities of growing and maintaining my beloved house plants and my general gardening needs. Nice to have someone on hand who actually was so very willing to help. Thanks Home Depot for having him there!

MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE!
I have been going to Home Depot for several years and the Falls Church store is by far the best in the area. This store is considerably larger than others and seem to have the best product availability. I don't usually write reviews and the reason I am writing this one is to tell the world about the best associate they have. I was in a hurry and had to be in and out of the store with a list of items. TAYE was the most helpful and friendly associate I ever had at any store. I have never seen someone so energetic and willing to help. TAYE went the extra mile and not only helped me find every item on my list but he also made sure that I received the proper discount for a damaged item and helped me load the items in my car. All while keeping a big smile and the best attitude! I was bragging about him once I got back to work and every one seemed to know who I was talking about. Ask for TAYE if you ever need help at Home Depot Falls Church!

Friendly and a well stocked store
The staff have a very good knowledge of the the store and where everything is located. They are always eager to assist you. Everything I needed was in stock and almost always is. I definitely recommend this store over the other near by locations.

Jeffrey Clark a millwork specialist helped so much by cutting a plastic sheet to the size I needed. I would not have been able to do it myself.

Fantastic customer service
I wanted to post this to thank Jamie in Millwork for her help last week. She is a real professional who went above and beyond to help me with an order that I needed to finish a job. She listened to my problem, suggested a solution and then made it all come together. First class all the way. Home Depot associates sometimes get negative comments but not from me, and definitely not Jamie. Thank you Jamie!

Again I found myself wandering around the store when it should have been a quick in and out
I had problems find a couple of things. The associates were very helpful. I am also not sure what could be changed with such a big store.

Outstanding store.
I needed to purchase some supplies for an upcoming snow storm and did not have time to make it into the store I bought everything online and was able to get in and out in a timely manner. The help of the associates saved me so much time and I love the online tool.

Nice store, but the road acces is awful.
It's easy to find things, and the associates are always willing to help, but getting in and out of the parking lot is a nightmare.

The store has is change with the additional space that has been add to the store. That HD has always been hard to get in and out of.

Fantastic cashier experience
It appeared that there was just one cashier available and I had to many items to self checkout. A cashier (Nana) approached me and quickly guided me to his register. He was a delightful and personable individual, made my checkout painless. Great Job Nana!

Stock shown as available online not actually available
Ordered a toilet online and 6 were shown to be in stock. When my agent arrive for pickup non-were in stock. I spoke to a store associate and he offered to try a ship a unit to me, but actually just canceled the order without any further follow up. Very frustrating

Gave us the wrong paint But associate was beyond nice and helpful and corrected
Eva was so helpful and nice. She got us the correct floor paint and apologize the error and the trouble we went through... Due to the wrong paint previous staff gave us. Excellent service... Very well deserved to be regonize! I went in upset due to the wrong paint given to me but Eva was so helpful I left happy! Thank you! Also Nana (cashier) was very friendly too! Great associates you have!

Getting wood cut with ease
Gerod Dean was one of the gentlemen that helped us and it was very pleasant working with him. I don't know the other guy's name but he was an older gent who was very helpful. I was pleased with how efficiently I got wood cut and how knowledgeable they both were about the process.

Should not shop this store while the Washington Redskins are playing if you need 'assistance'.
My sister and I were shopping for storage totes and mouse traps. They were out of the 'sale price' totes, but had many on the top shelf. We waited over 30-minutes for an associate with a forklift to arrive and than several additional minutes while other associates (previously standing around) moved numerous grills out of the area so the forklift could maneuver. It was obvious this person did not know how to use one. And "Omar" who had been paged many times to do this, was hiding out on the garden patio. I know this as I went out there to get a flower pot. He watched as I took a rake to retrieve two from an upper rack and than 'offered to help' me get it down when the rake "got stuck"!
We than were told at the register (the cashier's 2nd day on the job) that the TOMCATT disposable bait stations (we found in the CLEARANCE section), were NOT in the computer. He called over a 'floor associate' who said the item had been 'removed' from the computer system. We were purchasing over 30 of these traps, but were told by this floor associate that we COULD NOT purchase them because they were no longer in the HD system. Now I asked him: 'how can an item be removed from your system, when you still have them in STOCK"! He could NOT answer this question. At no time did either of us become belligerent or disrespectful, but he knew we were getting very upset at this point; especially after just waiting for the totes for 45 minutes. He offered to 'give us' each ONE. My sister told him, we did not want a give away, but to purchase 40 or so on the counter. My sister went back to the rack and took a cell phone picture of the sign and showed it to this same floor associates. He offered to show us other traps, but my sister said we wanted these as they were 'disposable'. He then had the audacity to ask why we needed so many mouse bates in the first place!!!
HELLO...WHAT BUSINESS WAS THAT OF HIS????
We were both stunned and 'dumb-founded' by this extremely rude individual and were in the store for over one hour. I have had my account at HD for many years and have NEVER been so humiliated! It will be a 'long time' before I set foot in a HD again. I will shop at LOWES!
