The associates were very helpful and friendly and went beyond their jobs to help me create the perfect colour paint and on line to be able to switch a sink top with another cabinet with legs. The store was neat and clean.

This story totally rocks! The new manager Jerald has really turned things around with employee professionalism, morale, and customer service. Also the quality of the items and availability is phenomenal!

I live in Nome and needed to make 3 major purchases. I found what I wanted on the website but needed to call the store to see what my shipping options were. I spoke to two different gentlemen who did an excellent job guiding me in my purchases and giving me options for how to ship. As someone who suffers from anxiety, I was very anxious but the gentlemen had such great customer service that my experience was very enjoyable. Never once did I feel that they were anything less than professional and helpful.

I called Dave in appliances at this store, and he was PHENOMENAL! Searched the warehouse for the exact washer/dryer I wanted, helped me with the extras I would need, and even gave me a link online where to buy an LP conversion kit Home Depot doesn't sell. He is super knowledgeable, loves his job, and is excellent at it! I will shop this store from now on - over the phone and when I am in Anchorage!

Husband and I are doing a big renovation project. We're have received VIP treatment from this home depot and others in town. We used to shop at other big box stores but the way we have been treated at home depot has made us always start there first.

Sales person did not have the carpet I wanted in stock. Did not call other stores to see if they had the carpet.

I was shopping for multiple appliances. Dave, in the appliance department was most helpful in helping me decide on the best brand, and made sure that every discount, coupon, and advantage price wise was afforded to me. Most thankful to him.

When my family and I walked up to the register, the employee by the name of Kristina, rudely shuts the gate between my 8 year old and I. Without any explanation of any sorts. Two other employee then walks up again without saying a word and I asked are we not allowed to check out? What’s going on here? The cashier can’t help us because it’s too much according to the employee, whom said she was a manager. Because the cashier and my father, that was with me as well, had an incident outside, not involving Home Depot or on the property. This manager then told us that her boss said my father is band from the store because of nothing involving the store or nor did my father do anything to this lady that he didn’t even recognize, until she brought it up on a visit before. The manager then said this other lady can help you, even though she just told me, my father is band for no reason at all. I was mad at this point, I said you just told me my father is band for no reason I can take my business elsewhere. The manager said no she can help you, that’s why I brought her over here. I should of took my business elsewhere but I end up buying my stuff because we already spent an hour getting our stuff. I had ask for the corporate number and the cashier then handed me the store manager’s information as well, as I was paying the manager said “so she didn’t say anything to you she just shut the gate.” Yes, if she couldn’t check us out because she can’t see my father, she could of professional spoke to me and said I’m going to get someone else to check you out but no. I was not involved in what happened between my father and this lady but now she has me involved due to her unprofessionalism at the store and I will not accept this kind of behavior. I will definitely not be going back nor will my family since technically my father is “band” do to no reason involving the store or it’s “employee.”

The store was clean and staff greeted you as you entered. I am not good at looking for things as I am usually sent to get items that were forgotten to finish a project. I love that I can ask an employee for assistance and they help me get what I need without having to wander around looking for items for an extended period. Time is money and the staff help reduce the time I would have spent looking for things. W

It is the people that make this store great. They want to help and are willing to figure out what you want and need and find it for you.

I was installing a fence for a long term co-worker and family. I have shopped at Home Depot for all of my building projects and I had confidence that I could find materials and quality customer service there as I have in the past. I invited my co-worker friend along to help pick out the fencing materials and told her I'd go to the cashier to have them get the bar code and then purchase. Additionally, I had one question about the materials. The cashier told me she didn't know the answer to my question and referred me to tool rental, then she told me I'd have to go outside and get the bar code for the fence panels. Note here that the fence panels were all nailed together so they would have to come out anyway. I went over to tool rental, and the guy was confused, called the manager who (didn't have time for me...) he had the tool rental guy call lumber. The lumber guy came out then went to retrieve the bar code, then sent me to cashiering to purchase and told me 2 guys would be waiting to help me load the panels. I finished the purchase, went outside and one guy was standing there prying the nails and screws out of the panels. This all took 50 minutes. Then, it took another 20 minutes to get another guy to help him load the panels into my truck. I started to drive away, but I turned around and went back to let the service desk know what had happened and then face to face tell them that I was not going to give them a good review at all the way I have in the past. I was so embarrassed that my co-worker friend had to see all of this after all my reassurances about what a great store Home Depot was. Complete and total disregard for customer service. For this project I have spent well over 1500.00. Just sad...Glad that the fence turned out great no great thanks to Home Depot store #1302

My experience began when I phoned the store to determine if a certain product was in stock because the "other guys" no longer carried the clear panels for lighting in a suspended ceiling. The gentleman told me what aisle and bay I could find the panels on. When I arrived at the store, I was greeted upon entry and asked if I needed help finding anything. A store associated helped me locate the lower price item for a similar panel.

We truly appreciate the effort by Yariza Rambarde, in kitchen and bath, Walt,who is truly a guru when it comes to flooring. and Justin, who wheeled the heavy cart to the parking space and loaded hundreds of pounds of flooring directly into our car and all of them cared for our purchase with a smile.

The customer service was quick, friendly and good.

I would call this my home store because I shop there for business-related purchases as well as personal related purchases and every time it's always been a great experience and I can generally find what I need fairly quickly.
