associates are trained to be very friendly to the costomers

I received the best customer service from Amy with our countertop and flooring purchase. We are trying to sell our house and needed inexpensive and attractive upgrades to our kitchen, bathroom and floors. She was so knowledgeable and able to assist us with everything including Install of all our items. Knowledgeable and friendly associates like this are hard to find and I would recommened her to anyone!

Great Paint Dept. We were not sure how the stains would look on our newly washed deck and we brought in a sample on the wood and the assoicate applied several on our sample so we could make a decesion.

Found exactly what we needed to update our bath. The salesperson was excellent: friendly, courteous, and helpful.

Trying to return defective merchandise is extremely difficult next to impossible . If you don't want to get stuck with defective stuff don't buy stuff here.

I went in looking for a screw for a pick-up tool I have at home. They did not have the exact item but they got me close to the thread that I needed

Excellent job in the paint, blinds, and door departments! You were knowledgeable and willing to spend all the time necessary with me.

Would give 5 stars but this store needs more associates to be available in the building supply area (roofing in my case).

The Palatine Home Depot is a great store to shop at. I would have give 5 stars except for the fact that I needed assistance in the roofing supplies and could not find any associate in the entire building supply area. Someone had to show me to a person for help.

Help is sometimes hard to find but good overall selection.

my experience was better then expected product was available

I was glad to find some assistance when I was there. However, I would recommend that when you see a customer approaching, it would be nice to stop your personal conversation and try to assist the customer first rather than make the customer wait to finish your personal conversion with other co-workers.

Friedly staff,clean environment,reasonable prices,well stock products.

Once found, associate was very helpful showing me where the product i was searching for could be found. It just took a while to find an associate.

Home Depot has great garden selections, better then all the competition, and I've been to many.

The store reps really are knowledgeable in their fields and take the time to give advice and explain information-it makes a tremendous difference to the customer. I wouldn't come back if the store didn't have such good service.

It's all good, I wanted to find a tile to redo my bathroom and I did!

Unlike many other stores, Home Depot has extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly sales associates. We never have to go hunting or someone to help us, which means we have a much more enjoyable (not frustrating) and speedy shopping experience.

I love this store, everything I could want from timber to rehang doors to mulch for the front lawn. Also innovative products that I did not think I needed but have since come in handy! If you're a serious wannabe contractor that refuses to pay for repairs I can do myself or a avid DIYer you should be able to find everything you need here.

The cashier was most helpful. He approached me and checked me out using a portable check out device. Cool. I did not have to wait in line

The plant department had a large variety of every thing one would want to do their spring/summer planting.

Pleased that everything needed was in stock. Price was right. Help was readily available inspite of the fact we were there on a Saturday. Checkout was slow.

Shop early and you can get great deals on flowers and talk to experienced salespeople about the plants.

I was very satisfied with the friendly customer service at this store. I always enjoy shopping at The Home Depot
