We had a nice in-store experience and bought a refrigerator to replace our old one. We were told the old refrigerator would be hauled away at the time of delivery. That did not happen. We were told there was not enough room on the delivery truck for the old refrigerator, even though they had removed a new refrigerator from the truck. We were told by the Operations Manager, Scott, of Spirit Logistics -- the delivery service for Home Depot-- that we had to make a second appointment to have the old refrigerator removed. That is unacceptable. We contacted Anthony, Manager of Hiram Home Depot. He is trying to get things worked out. We hope to hear from him soon. His store is a nice store, but Home Depot needs to be careful with whom they sub-contract to do their deliveries because if the sub-contractors are sub-par, they can really make Home Depot look very bad.

Why if an employee doesn’t know anything about garden is working at that department? The problem is not knowing anything. The problem is that not even the basic like soil and pots functions. There were 3 associates there that didn’t know anything about garden. They called someone else from the inside to help me and he also said I don’t know anything about garden Sorry. Finally I requested a manager that took about 15 minutes to come and answer a question.

I needed assistance at the Service Desk. The associate there was very very nice, but didn't know how to activate my Project Loan Card. I stood there 45 minutes assisting her by calling Customer Service and walking her through the steps Customer Service gave me. The associate was very sweet, but her job knowledge deficit resulted in a 45 minute wait that should have taken 5 minutes. This occurred after a 12 hour work day. Can we say not happy???

For the amount of great employees here, it only takes 1 to infuriate me to the point that I will never shop here again. Went to this store 4 times trying to buy new appliances. 3 times I walked out because of 1 employee’s attitude. On the 4th trip, I found someone that was nice and didn’t seem bothered to do their job. I spent a decent amount of money on a kitchen package here. Upon looking at the receipt I felt that there was an error with the discounts. The receipts are printed in such a way that nothing matches the prices in the store. So, I took a trip back to the store to look for clarification. I explained the error and what I felt was wrong. I got nothing but huffing and statements about how “it works”. I went to the front desk, the kind woman there tried to explain, printed out more paperwork with more different numbers... nothing matching what it should read. She requested a manager to come help and it was obvious that that person was too busy to be bothered too. I’m sorry your store is busy. You obviously don’t need/want my business. I’ll be glad to place my appliance order elsewhere tomorrow.

Love the convenience of the store. Also I am working on landscaping and I find everything I need to landscape my yard.

I like to thank Norma for her help I recently purchasing a whole set of appliances for my kitchen. I came in there with a plan and she helped me executed. Thanks.

This store always have what I need, employees are very helpful when I have a question

This store is constantly out of stock on high turnover product that SHOULD be restocked before becoming out of stock. They also have a terrible habit of showing far more of an item than is in stock, possibly causing the original issue. In either case, new management was installed ~1.5-2yrs ago (or at least that is what the manager I spoke to said) to try and curtail such issues. Apparently they aren’t being as successful as they had hoped. The associates are generally helpful, Chuck was awesome in helping get our kitchen designed and ordered! I will continue to use the store as it’s the closest to my home, but I frequent other stores when I can because they usually have what I can’t find here.

NORMA BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE CREATES SOME EMOTIONAL DISTRESS.

Store was neat and clean, approached two associates (different aisles) and asked about location of a product, neither knew where the product was located, nor did they assist me in finding it, found it myself. Would I recommend this Store? Yes- No- Maybe? You decide

I had to return a kitchen faucet a contractor installed a year ago without a receipt, Samantha exceeded my expectations when she replaced same item. Thank you!

At my Hiram, Georgia store I was surprised and elated by the time and patients that Ben, Ray and James took with me. They basically gave me a tutorial on how to replace a chain on my chainsaw and how to properly sharpen the teeth on my chain saw. I was lucky to be there at an opportune time but even so, they took such an interest in me and my project. They made the learning fun. This made my whole experience at the store exceptional. Of course everyone that I interacted with was friendly and the store was clean, well lite and well stocked as always. A young man there named Amadou went way above and beyond to help me get hay bales in my Kia. I was going to rent a truck and get 15 bales but inventory was low so he worked and rearranged a couple until he got 8 in my car and I am so very please!! He was very polite too @ Hiram Home Depot

When going in early there seems to be good help

This store gives my wife a very difficult time with the veteran's discount even though she has 4 different types of veteran ID on her at all times. Plus they don't seem to have department employees in their specific area compared to other home depot locations. And they're not as friendly overall.

Robin was excellent as far as HD in general it's not what it use to be. Disappointed to see the changes being made.

The store is convenient to me...it is clean and organized and the staff is quick and effective in helping me locate items I need.

The store employees are always friendly, but the store is not organized in accord with the website. Too many times the items are out of stock or not in the aisles and bays as listed online. It makes searching for items difficult and the employees are always apologizing for the disorganization.
