The Apollo ExpansionPEX 24-Port PEX Manifold with 1/2 in. Brass Ball Valves is simple to install. Think of it as the circuit breaker for your water delivery system. The installation of an Apollo ExpansionPEX manifold provides a single point flow control over each outlet. Apollo ExpansionPEX manifolds are designed for implementation within "home-run" type expansion PEX-A piping systems eliminating the need for additional fittings or connections between the water source and the point of use fixture. Apollo ExpansionPEX manifolds are a key component of the most economical potable water piping systems. Apollo ExpansionPEX piping runs must be secured into place using Apollo ExpansionPEX pipe or comparable cold expansion tubing using Apollo ExpansionPEX sleeves or comparable expansion-type sleeve or ring (all sold separately). The Apollo ExpansionPEX system is a comprehensive cold expansion piping system comprised of brass fittings, poly alloy fittings, manifolds, valves, fasteners, tools and tubing designed for implementation in water delivery systems, simple or complex. A cold-expansion tool (sold separately) is required for installation.

Q:Is there a fitting to replace 1/2" outlet with a 3/4 outlet (non Valve) id like to make a "loop" on the cold side for equal water pressure. This system seems to be more cost effective than making something out of cooper

A:  No but you can replace any valve and put what you want in or just add it to a valve and make the loop, just leave it open. I have all home runs to all faucets and devices and see no need to equalize the pressure as it is you get equal pressure with this manifold device all the time inside of the manifold.

      A:  This manifold is not compatible with standard PEX crimp rings. The equivalent version that is compatible with standard PEX copper crimp rings would be part number 6907924CP and can be easily found Home Depot's website.         Install was easy and no leak issues during pressure test....
        Install was easy and no leak issues during pressure test. This is the first job with Pex A / Propex / Uponor and compared to the other manifolds I used with Pex B / Vega seemed less beefy. The valve connections are mostly what I find less well designed. Other manifolds I have used have valves made into it. Also come up short on valves and need to order more. Did not come with enough valves for every port. It had enough valves and caps for every port.

          Finally! A manifold for expandable PEX
          We install quite a few projects with expandable PEX. Now that these are available, we're able to use these manifolds on our projects. Product quality seems really good especially with the brass valves. They seem well-built.

            Adapter sizing
            I bought this and installed right away one of the adapters started to leak. It was a weird size no one has with the exception of Apollo. I called they are sending me new one ,good customer service. But I still have no water in the meantime due to them using special fitting instead of standard adapters. I DO NOT recommend for the simply fact that if you have a emergency some of the parts are not readily available. Do your self a favor and find a manifold that’s standard connections so you’re not with out water like I am…. No where on the website does it mention the adapter it just says it has a male pipe connection but the 1”mpt has another 1”x11.5 straight thread female connection that’s straight with a gasket in the bottom I’m guessing it’s BSPP or FHT but not sure and the manufacturer seemed unsure
