CAMO Premium Trim Screws (#8 2-1/2 in. 316 Stainless Steel Tan Premium Star Drive Trim Screw)
I recently used the CAMO Premium Trim Screws for my decking project, and I was thoroughly impressed. These screws are perfect for outdoor applications due to their 316 stainless steel construction, which ensures excellent durability against the elements. The T15 Star Drive design effectively reduces cam-out, making installation a breeze. While I typically prefer a square head for a better grip, the Star Drive worked well for my needs. I also loved the variety of colors available, which allowed for a seamless match with my project. Another nice touch was the inclusion of a power bit in the box, saving me a trip to dig through my tools. I used these screws to hang my Rubbermaid FastTrack system in the garage, and they proved to be strong and reliable. Although they are a bit pricey, the quality makes them worth the investment. If you need dependable screws for any exterior or heavy-duty project, I highly recommend these!

Great option for exterior use
These stainless steel screws with the tan heads was exactly what I was looking for to replace some screws I previously used in an outdoor cedar shower wall. I will be taking down some boards to refinish and using these screws to reinstall. The tan heads blend well with the cedar. The torx head bit supplied with the screws fits very well in the screw heads, which lessens the chance of stripping the head.

Excellent Trim Screw for Use on Bench Cover
My son asked me to convert his freezer nook in the entrance way from the garage to a Mudroom nook. I installed two 30"X12"X30" pre-finished Shaker-style cabinets and then proceeded to build in place a storage bench of 24"X60"X18" with a butcher block top finished with ebony stain. My daughter-in=law asked to have hidden pop-up hinges and necessary hardware to soft close and assist with opening as the top is almost 50 pounds. I used the trim screws to attach the back side and the right and left side trim pieces to the wall and base unit. I drilled the suggest pilot hole and all screws were easy installed. The small heads were countersunk and then filled with ebony filler. My son was very impressed with the finished product.

Nice screws but some broke
I used these screws to build a little stand for our dog's food and water dishes out of some scrap 2x4's I had laying around. The 2.5 inch length is perfect screwing 2x4's together. First the good news. These screws are 316 Stainless Steel so there should be no issues with corrosion over time. The coloring on the head of the screw is durable, showing no signs of chipping or scratching during installation. The star drive makes for a very secure drilling process and no stripping of the head. Now the bad news, out of 28 screws used, 4 of them broke while screwing them in. One of the broken screws may have hit the shank of another screw which was my fault, but still 3 others had no real excuse. I also had a few screws that were unable to pull the head into the wood before they started stripping inside the wood. Part way through the project, I started partially predrilling pilot holes and making chamfers with a larger drill bit. I still had one screw break even after that. Maybe a project that can use shorter screws would work better, or if you need longer screws, maybe go up a size or two in thickness?

Great Designer Screws for Carpentry
I did not have a project on deck for these very fancy CAMO screws, so I simply tested a few on some scrap pine wood. I needed to drill pilot holes for these, but if you have more practice and a steadier wrist holding your drill than I do, you may not need to. Then again, since these seem to be designed for finish carpentry, it would be prudent to drill pilot holes. I used a 1/64 bit. With a pilot hole I found that these screws bit into the wood fine and dandy. The star bit that comes with the kit worked fine. I did not experience any stripping or slippage. Since these are #316 stainless steel, they are supposed to be good for outdoor projects and resistant to corrosion. I think I will build a deck box. It's a welcome feature to have screws with heads that already match the color of your project.

Great design and material makes a great product.
Camo 316 Stainless Steel Trim screws are a great choice for attaching trim in all weather conditions. The screws are marine grade which means that they should withstand various adverse conditions such as high humidity or weathering. The included T-15 driver allows for a small profile head which will allow the screws to be inserted without stripping like typical Phillips screws. The screws have a self drilling point and 1” unthreaded shank to help reduce splitting. But one of the best thing is that the top stays on even when the container is turned upside down.

Handy for outdoor uses
These stainless steel screws come in a box with a shiny lid — easy to locate when you need them. The box includes the star drive and it has a longer than typical shaft which is nice. I used the screws to do some fence repairs replacing the rusted through nails. Also hung a bird house up. The heads of the screws are tan and blend with the fence better than shiny screw heads. The screws drove in well. There are lots of uses for non rusting screws.

Worth a look for sure
Quality stainless screws with tan head for star drive. A T15 star drive is included and is very substantial compared to the other brands that provide only a short bit – if any. I used the 2 ½ in #8 trim screws and thy worked fine with no issues. My hammer drill punched them right in. No predrilling. I also like the container they come in. The container could have other uses such as storage.

Holds tight, easy to make it hold tight.
With the torx bit, it's a no brainer when it comes to using this screw. Go right in, no slipping. Long enough for most trim and edge application. The end or cap color allows it to end right in. Because the pack comes with their own torx bit, no hunting for the size. Best of off this bit can be used in a screw driver or power driver. Hence the little notch area on the bit shaft. Super simple to use.

High quality trim screws
This trim head screw works really great it starts easy grips the wood and keep going without any problem. This is a marine grade screw so you don't have to worry about it rusting on you. It is a self starting screw to help you get it started into the wood. The screw head is a star slot for a star bit that is furnished to use with the screws. The screw bit is a very good quality and so are the screws and you don't have to worry about the bit hopping out of the screw head while you are turning the screw into the wood. The screws come i a very good case and you can even reuse if you like.. i have to highly recommend this product.
