Product Overview

  • Complex Indexing efficiently automates multiple irrigation zones
  • Automatic and manual modes enable flexibility in operation
  • Resilient ABS plastic material is resistant to heat and impact
The Fimco 1-1/2 in. Standard 4 outlet indexing valves offers a reliable and economical way to automate multiple zoned irrigation systems. This Hydro Indexing Valve has 1 inlet and 4 outlets which are all 1-1/2 in. slip fit. The simple design of the valve ensures easy installation and maintenance.
  • Valve is recommended for use in a pump driven irrigation system
  • Above- or below-ground installation for flexible placement options
  • 2, 3 or 4-zone indexing capability based on the chosen cam configuration
  • Supports manual or automatic operation with a controller (not included) to turn on and off the water supply (pump or solenoid)
  • 1.5 in. inlet size
  • 2, 3 and 4 zone cams included
  • 1.5 in. outlet size
  • Great alternative to individual solenoid valves
  • 1 valve can replace up to 4 1 1/2 in. solenoids
  • 1 above ground FIMCO valve controls all zones eliminating the need to dig into the ground to locate electric solenoid valve boxes
  • Only use standard clear PVC cement (not included) for installation of the valve and allow 2 hours to set before subjecting it to internal water pressure, do not use fast setting blue glue as it will rapidly deteriorate the ABS plastic used in the construction of the indexing valve, purple primer has a similar effect and should only be applied to PVC pipe and not the valve housing

Buy a different brand. I've had to replace three already. Bought a different brand at a sprinkler supply and it is much better quality

The indexing valve doesn't seem to block out the other zones when system is on. Looks like a least one zone has trickles of water coming out of the sprinkler heads while the main zone is not working as strong as it used to. I did replace my pump prior with a 2hp. I believe the system worked well in the beginning, but recently my self priming pump has had trouble keeping its prime and the zones seem to be leaking into each other more than before. I think I had a 1.5hp, motor before, but I'm not sure.

1. Can I use this valve to replace 3 individual zone valves in my lake irrigation system in Michigan? 2. I currently use a Hunter SRC 6-zone controller; can I use it to control three zones supplied through the FIMCO 4-outlet valve?
Asked by: Patrick
Hi: The way this valve operates is that it will index to one of the outlets when the pump is cycled on and off. Provided you have each line piped into the outlet of the valve, then yes it will work but I do not have enough knowledge of your system to say it will. The valve does come with different cams to active two, three or 4 zones. The manufacturer is very helpful if you have any questions. Ths valve replaced the ball valve that you see int he picture and Fimco was kind enough to make a cam that would work for my installation. Mike
