Keep in mind it's made to put in a window frame. (Much like the way an air condioner fits in a window.) I should think as long as you put something inside and outside .Your dog could certainly use.
I installed mine in just a few minutes in a vinyl window frame. Works great.
No, tight fit and lock on it if you want
About 14 inches high
Spray the area for bugs routinely. Clean the area around the pans frequently. Remove all debris. The door should be closed hanging level.
Written instructions come with the package or there is also a video demonstration on the website.
I have had it installed for 3 years and love it. But yes, in New England noreasters, the door will blow open when it gusts. Still not a deal breaker to me and if it's a bad storm I can just lock it temporarily.
Sure just keep your receipt and the packing materials. You will need to provide an incentive to have your pet use it the first few days. Put some time into the training. It's much better than jumping up to open the door to let your pet in and out.
