Absolutely beautiful till for my kitchen

I found this tile basically before I even finished deciding the rest of the design of my new kitchen, and I’m still in love with it. It looks great with the modern kitchen and gives a little touch of texture, color, and focal points to the otherwise very angular and bland kitchen I’ve designed. I can’t speak to the ease of putting it up, or the quality of the tile because I didn’t trust myself to do it without professional help, but it looks very good!

We used the tile as a kitchen backsplash, we installed it ourselves, and had no issues. It looks great, and we love it!

I was looking for a tile that was colorful, subtle, and complex all at the same time while not being over bearing to the eye. This tile was exactly that! The gorgeous detail went great with the gray grout I bought. It grounds the white kitchen cabinets to make it look more earthy and elegant. I will definitely buy again.

This Merola Tile Harmonia Kings Marrakech Blue 13 in. x 13 in. tile is gorgeous! The quality jumps out as soon as you open the box. And speaking of boxes, the shipping container/box that it came in was exceptionally well insulated against damage and is really worth mentioning. Receiving undamaged tile should not be a problem and is exciting in itself. Speaking of which, the product had no other damage or out of character inconsistencies in color or texture when inspected, is beautifully finished with all its intentional flaws to look aged. This is important when considering overall uniformity and pattern over larger areas. The tile can be used for numerous applications, including, but not limited to backsplash, bathroom, fireplace hearths and mantles, or floors, whatever you’re in to. I’ll need to order more to complete our project. Installation should be fairly straight forward. Using a thin-set tile mastic is fairly standard and even a do-it-yourselfer should have no trouble. Just remember to use a serrated trowel. As for grout, not sure yet. If I do grout, the gap using standard spacers will be at least 1/8”. Because my application will leave the edges exposed, I plan to use ¼” – half round to finish. There are other methods (bullnose tile, etc.) but this will suit my purpose. I’m expecting a professional level result from such a high-quality product and think you can too!

This is one of my favorite visual impact tiles now. It is absolutely gorgeous tile. I used it on my front step in a entrance area I am building/finishing. The tile comes in 9 squares to a piece with tiny indents for grout - I cut the tiles into 9 separate pieces because I wanted 1/4 grout lines to match up with my other tilework. It was quick cutting because the indent made for easy to use guides for cutting. A bit messy because it is ceramic but I am so happy with the finished project. This is a wonderful looking tile!

Want to cover three different tiles from Merola company and the same Harmonia family in this review: - Merola Tile Harmonia Floral Lattice Blue - Merola Tile Harmonia Kings Marrakech Blue - Merola Tile Harmonia Grove Green All the above tiles are made using the same technology, all have the same size (13”x13”), and thickness (10 mm). The latter is especially important for me as I like to use 10 mm flooring in my installations and smooth transition are must have for me. Back to the point, Harmonia family is big. Those are only three different tiles that I found appealing for myself. Quality: high as usual for Merola (and I had pleasure of working with other tiles from Merola). However, I found minor defects in grout lines on some tiles (very notable for Floral Lattice Blue). Ease of installation: the tile size 13”x13” with grout lines is just perfect for handling and accurate installation. Grouting application is the easiest part, however, remember to keep ~1/8” between tiles to have consonance with grout lines on tiles themselves. Appearance: You cannot be wrong. It’s your choice. Out of these three my favorite is Grove Green. Lattice Blue on a second place. Marrakech Blue has a charm, though I found it too “smeared”. Recommend!

This tile is gorgeous! It's a thick HD tile can be used on floor like I used at entrance to our sunroom or counter top or as a wall tile in your bathroom. There a 12 tiles to a box and they are each 13x 13 a box will cover approximately 142 SQ Ft They are not hard to cut I used a manual tile cutter but you can use a circular saw with the correct blade. I chose to not use a solid grout between tiles rather laying them edge to edge using a clear adhesive. Only because of the faux grout lines designed into each tile .
