We purchased the RIDGID Dusting Brush and Crevice Tool Accessory Kit because we needed to vacuum in-between the deck grates we constructed for our 20 foot LOA, 8 foot Beam, ply on frame/fiberglassed wood boat we're building in our back yard. The brush is for the interior hull planks and the crevice tool fits between the wood slats of the deck grates. Both are also used to do general vacuum duty after we sand the interior and hose down the entire hull. Highly recommended for vacuuming hard to reach areas whether these places are on your boat or your home.

Brush quality has gone down
I love rigid shop vacs and the many accessories for them. However it is disappointing that a dusting brush would not be in stock at any stores especially when its one of the most used. I buy maybe six a year since I use them everyday but lately the quality of it bas gone down. By that I mean theres not a lot of bristles so sometimes you can end up scraping something youre trying to clean

Bristles of dust brush collapse under suction
The crevice tool is fine. I have the 4 gallon, 5 HP Rigid vac. It sucks like a champ. When using the dust brush however, it sucks the bristles such that they close in on themselves. I solved the problem with a short piece of 1 1/4 PVC and a few wraps of duct tape (see photo). Works great now, but poor design.

Good tools for your 'orange' sucker!
I have a 4 gallon wet/dry vacuum (model WD4070) and these attachments fit perfectly. I'm a bit confused as to why these basic tools don't come with all RIDGID vacuums, but I guess the vacuums appear less expensive and then you just buy what you need. Luckily the attachments aren't expensive... although, by the time I'm done outfitting the vac, I'll have paid more than expected. The crevice tool is nice and pointy so it does a good job getting in tight spots. The dusting brush works well to get saw dust off the work bench. Good quality although made in China.

Works well with my Stinger vacuum!
The only thing that I didn't like about my Stinger vacuum were the plastic suction attachments. I knew it would benefit from a brush and crevice tool attachment, so I thought I would give this combo a try. I was not disappointed. Both fit my Stinger vacuum hose well and work great. The only reason that I did not rate it 5 stars is that the bristles on the brush that I received are slightly deformed as shown in the accompanying picture.However, the brush still works well. Note also that the collar on both the crevice tool and brush increases the outer diameter from 1 1/4" to 2 1/8", but that seems an acceptable tradeoff for being able to accommodate a variety of hoses.

Great for smaller shop vac
Make sure these are the right size for your vacuum. They are not the size of a standard shop-vac. I have two different vacuums. This is the right size for Ridgid 6 gallon Stainless Steel Wet/Dry Vacuum, which has a hose more like a standard vacuum cleaner (and comes with too few attachments.) It is NOT the right size for my 12 gallon full size shop vac. These tools are exactly what they appear, and work perfectly on the smaller shop vac.
