Great product but not fun to clean after. Fingerprints left on it after putting it up was awful ...
Great product but not fun to clean after. Fingerprints left on it after putting it up was awful so a bit of nail polish remover and stamina did the trick. When all is said and done, it looks great.

The moldings were very nice to work with. I was spray painting them to finish off a faux tin ceiling I had put up in my kitchen and the results were quite stunning. My biggest concern though is when you order product like this, sight unseen, you run the risk of getting pieces that are not in perfect condition. This was the case here unfortunately. I had to watch where the "imperfections" and nicks were on each piece before making any cuts to ensure I used the best sections. Thankfully it worked out ok and i was able to finish my work as planned.

This is a good product and one I will use,...
This is a good product and one I will use, again. It works pretty much like wood but holds up better in damp environments (e.g., baths and porches). One caution is that the surface dents rather easily. If you're careful moving it and cutting it, that shouldn't be a problem. It would help if the marketing material showed the installed measurements. Assuming a 45-degree installation angle I might be able to figure the molding is 2 1/2 inches from ceiling to base, but the description has the trim at 4 5/8 inches and NO installation angle, so that measurement is effectively irrelevant to the installer.
