The Wedge-All anchor is a non-bottom bearing, wedge-style expansion anchor for use in solid concrete or grout-filled concrete masonry. A 1-piece clip ensures uniform holding capacity that increases as tension is applied. The Wedge-All wedge anchor is available in carbon steel with zinc or mechanically galvanized coating, as well as Types 303/304 and Type 316 stainless steel. Threaded studs are set by tightening the nut to the specified torque. The Wedge-All is code listed for grout-filled masonry applications.

AnswerIt would not be recommended for a wing nut to replace the packaged hex nut. The Wedge-All has not been evaluated with a wing nut and it is not clear how the required installation torque can be applied with a wing nut. Thank you!

Well made, fully stainless. 304 is stamped on nut and washer as well. Prefer to Powers Bolts, which are kind of the standard. Sleeve (wedge) is one solid piece as opposed to two pieces. This makes it easier to hammer bolt into hole.
