Slip Slidin' Away

What could have been a really nice window has mutated in front of our eyes and it was just installed. The slats on 2 out of 2 purchased windows have started to melt and slide down the window. I am about to attempt to contact the manufacturer, TAFCO, and see how this can be resolved. Brutal. I have never seen this before.

The Grids on tafco fails and would fall out one by one. Check out my picture.

I purchased this window with Grids and soon I realized it was a big mistake, Once I got it installed and PVC trimmed, I noticed the Grids are falling out, i contacted the company for the warranty but I been told by their super lousy customer service they would mail me a glue to repair it (and they never did). Remember this window was installed on the second floor and I need to rent a scissor lift to be able to get to this window. Now I am scratching my head as to what type of glue I need to purchase that would work on the glass permanently. I am not happy.

Junk!!!!!

Worst window ever!!! Installed it in 12/19, matched my new kitchen great! Beginning of summer the grids started to slide down the window and it doesn’t crank in to lock properly, which it did for the first few months... my husband emailed the company and they said they would send new adhesive strips that they had a bad batch, but they still haven’t addressed the issue of not closing correctly anymore. Should last more than a few months!!!!! I wouldn’t give it any stars at all but it makes you!
