TotalPond waterfall pumps have high performance, wet bearing motors capable of moving large amounts of water to create dynamic effects. These powerful motors are energy efficient and are designed for quiet performance so you can enjoy the sounds of flowing water, not the buzz of the motor. All of our waterfall pumps include a pumpshield to protect it from dirt and debris, which will also extend the life of the pump. The 1200 GPH Waterfall Pump is ideal for cascading waters up to 5 ft. in height. It has a maximum pumping height of 14 ft., is compatible with 1 in. tubing and comes with a 16 ft. power cord.

    Q:I?m planning on using this pump to run from my 175gal pond up a stream about 35ft distance but probably only a difference of 3ft in height. Is this pump too much? Also, I purchased a 1.5? S-4 hose for it but it doesn?t fit snug on the adapter.

      A:  Hello David. We thank you for your inquiry. This pump has a synchronous motor with a magnetic impeller. We recommend removing the pump before the water freezes (42 degrees or below) and store in a dry place. We do suggest taking the pump apart to clean and clean impeller assembly before storing it away. You may store it in your garage. We hope this helps! Your TotalPond Water Gardening Specialist, Mary

          Excellent pump, better than I expected, more than a month working and has the same strength, but it was necessary to clean the mesh (included) because my pond is growing algae. Does not include the hose adapter so you have to buy a 3/4 inch pvc female adapter.

            Indoor Wall Fountain
            I replaced 2 aqua genius p4800 pumps with these slightly smaller pumps from TotalPond. My two previous pumps were 1400 gph and the two new pumps are 1200 gph. These go up a ten foot indoor wall fountain and work amazing. I will definitely purchase these again when replacing in the future. Don’t forget to register your pump for a 2 year warranty. Two thumbs up.

              I had two of these pumps. Both times, they only last for 12 months, when running them 24x7x365 a year! I have a waterfall/pound in my backyard, and I love the sound of running water, so the pump stays on all the time. I'd give the pump a 5 star ratting if it would last at least two years! NOPE! Each time I purchased my pump, I purchased it from Home Depot! Yes, I'm looking for a better pump that will last two years running 24x7x365!

                  This pump is light and powerful. The power cord is stout and long enough to easily reach the outlet I have. I'm using the pump in a small pond and have about a five foot rise to a cascading water feature. I'm using 1 1/4 plastic tubing. The flow is better than I expected. Based on the flow and how quiet the pump is I'm giving it a five star review. I've only had the pump for a week so I can't speak for its longevity.

                  Two versions of TotalPond LL1200 are very different
                  I have purchased two TotalPond LL1200 pumps, a year and a half apart, but they are very different in size and fittings. First was purchased from Home Depot, lasted about a year and died. Working on getting repair/replace under warranty. The first one came with fittings to allow different sizes of tubing on outlet, and specified that 1" ID tubing was suitable. The second pump (SAME MODEL #) is a good deal smaller, fits garden-hose size on outlet and no instructions for size of pipe to use. Unfortunately, the second one purchased from a different store does not work at all; dead as a door nail. Home Depot has a like to the product manual which pictures the first, larger pump. This is bewildering, and very disappointing because I replumbed my waterfall line to accommodate the LL1200 and the flow was ideal with the first one. I was entirely happy with the first one, but for the difficulty of taking it apart to clean and maintain according to mfg. instructions. The videos on this page show the different pumps: the "care and maintain" video shows the larger, first model. The "installation" video shows the smaller, later model!

                  LIGHT DUTY SUBMERSIBLE PUMP
                  Great little pump for a water feature or waterfall. Has plenty of power to give about four and half feet of lift, says it will lift to five feet but it only trickles the water at that height. Comes with a screw on hose adapter for output. Whole unit sits in a leaf bag to keep the propeller free of debris in open water features. Standard 110 volt wiring that includes plug. Screw on adapter ideally fits various sizes of lift hoses. Make a beautiful water feature in any yard with this convenient little, easy to install pump.
