A: The statement on this label should say 60 degrees MINIMUM. 75C rated conductors can be used but should be sized for 60A ampacity per NEC Table 310.15(B)(16) to be safe (with considerations made for any voltage drop). For example, #6 wire at 60C is 55A but at 75C is 65A. This will require using stranded instead of solid cable per the connector range listed.
A: Please see attached cut sheet with the requested information.
A: LGP1S has 1" knockouts on each side,1-1/4" and (2) 3/4" KO's on the bottom and a 1-1/2" hub hole on the top. A copy of the cut sheet showing locations will be posted in the community forum.
A: Both cover and box are of steel construction.
A: As long as it is stranded wire, yes. LGP1S accepts 12-4 AWG stranded wire for line and neutral connections (but only 12-8 AWG solid wire). The 4th connection is for the equipment ground which accepts 12-2 AWG stranded. The top receptacle slot is for equipment ground. The bottom is for neutral. Please consult with a licensed electrician for proper wiring in accordance with the NEC. For a copy of the cut sheet send a request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
