A: I don’t know the maximum strength of the 1/2” rebar. But for my use to hold up the metal posts it worked well.

A: These were flat on the end. So maybe saw? They were straight too. I need a few more and later choose the "Weyerhaeuser 1/2 in x 4 ft. #4 Rebar" because I only needed a few more and could be delivered from the store. The Weyerhaeuser were not straight at all and had to use a vise and hammer to get them straight. Not sure if this was because of how they were cut at the store. No issues with the Boise.
