Q:With an underground water system from a house to outbuilding which is a distance of 230', will a 1" poly pipe, green stripe, suffice.
by|Nov 20, 2022
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: The green stripe on a pipe may indicate that may be for use with water up to 100 psi. You should seek a reference chart that will allow you to calculate the run length, pressure of the line or source as measured against your gph or gpm needs. It's tough to advise if 1" would suffice without knowing that information.
