Q:would this be ok to use for bathroom flooring

    Answer This Question

A:  Our Sandeply does not have an exterior glue line, so I would not recommend you using for flooring. Please visit your local Home Depot and ask the pro-desk to show you the options you have for flooring underlayment. Thanks

    by|Sep 27, 2022

A:  I don't think it would be a good choice. For a floor, especially a bathroom or a kitchen floor, you'd want something much more durable like laminate, tile, or vinyl.

      by|Sep 29, 2022

A:  This would not be a good product for that use because it would not hold up to the moisture

A:  I would not use our 12mm Sandeply for underlayment as it is not an exterior glue. I would suggest you visit you local HD store and look at the exterior flooring underlayment options. Thank you

Q:I'd like to use this plywood up on top of the rafters of my garage for storing things. Would this work for this purpose or is there a cheaper way to go? Do you have any suggestions or is this my best bet or way to go about this project?

A:  Thanks for your question. I would suggest you go to your local Home Depot store to see the various faces available on their plywood to see if it fits your requirements

A:  It would work for that but osb is the cheaper option

                  by|Sep 17, 2022

A:  Sanded Plywood is a very expensive solution. OSB would do the job at a fraction of the price.

A:  CDX plywood will work fine for that use & cheaper too !

Q:I found this by searching for MARINE grade plywood. It does show up under that heading but when you look at the product details I don't find it saying that anywhere.

A:  Not Marine Grade -- I believe it isn't even exterior plywood. Function of the search engine as HD doesn't carry marine grade plywood (at least at my store). To test this theory, try searching for a Left-handed Monkey Wrench

A:  I've found that searches (especially Google searches) are becoming less.and less valuable. Paid advertising and site marketing have ruined it. If it doesn't show in the details, don't trust it. Call them and MAYBE you'll find what you need.

A:  Thanks for your question. Our Sandeply for the Home Depot is an interior glue product. It should not be used for any marine or exterior applications. Thank you
