Answer This Question
A: Hi, ktga64, I don't know if can be used on the bathroom ceiling. It may be too heavy. I used it on the walls in an area in the bathroom where there are two sinks and a dressing area, and it looks great, but I'm thinking it would be too heavy for a bathroom ceiling. Good luck with your project. This is a great product and looks very beautiful on the walls.

Q:How many square feet does one box cover
by|Apr 30, 2021
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Each box covers approximately 21 square feet. I suggest ordering extra, 1 board was damaged in about 2/3 of the boxes. Recommend filling all nail holes, sand smooth and calk seams before painting. The attention to detail is worth the extra effort.

Q:HELP WITH STAGGERING: I am doing an accent wall in my basement and we recently bought some grey ARAUCO ship lap boards from The Home Depot, but I am pretty sure they are discontinued so we are stuck with them. I love the look of them but the issue is they are only 4 feet long. The specs are 15/32 in. x 5-1/4 in. x 4'. We are installing them on a wall that is 92.5" (21 boards) x 93.5" (2 boards) so we will have to use at least two boards per row. Does anyone have suggestions on how to stagger the boards so there isn't just one seam running up the middle?

Q:Can I obtain a sample before purchasing?

Answer This Question
A: Susan, I'm not sure about a sample, but it's a great product. I just looked online, ordered it and was very pleased with what I got. I've had to order a couple of times because I didn't figure the full measurements correctly. And it was out of stock one time. Very popular product. If you order I don't think you will be dissatisfied. Good luck with your project.

Q:What is the difference between the box of 6 and the individual boards? Because buying the box is 33% more expensive per board than the individual ARAUCO primed shiplap boards? I couldn't find a difference in the description.
