Mine rattles like crazy on any speed
Just use a 100 watt equivalent LED. Stay away from CFL, they use more electric are slow to come to brightness and are a pain to dispose of. A 100 watt LED will brighten substantially and use about half the electricity of a CFL . If you want bright white look for something in the 5000k range, if you want a softer light look for something in tgh 2700k to 3000k range. Make sure you get a medium base bulb.
To each blade holder, I added two washers to the lower right side of the blade attachment changing the angle of the blade and allowing more airflow up or down. I would have used my old blades but that fan only had four blades.
As shipped, no. The bulb is not dimmable. To have a dimmable light you will have to wire the fan to two independent circuits. One for the fan and the other to the light. The switch to the light would need to be a dimmer type that can dim LED bulbs and the bulb itself must also be dimmable.
Its pathetically low. I just installed this my house and it looks like the room is good setting for those horror movies
will light be bright enough for 12x12 room
Yes it is effective but it would not be for reading etc you might want a fan with more bulbs if bright light is desired. But it does illuminate sufficiently to move about the room safely.
the bottom of the fan in 12" from the ceiling so it would be 6'-4" above your floor. the chains dangle further still.
No, this fan is a flush mount, there are no drop rods for this fan.
No it does not come with a remote
