Susan, I'm not sure about a sample, but it's a great product. I just looked online, ordered it and was very pleased with what I got. I've had to order a couple of times because I didn't figure the full measurements correctly. And it was out of stock one time. Very popular product. If you order I don't think you will be dissatisfied. Good luck with your project.
I found the box of 6 to be a much better quality, I purchased 100 individual for delivery, when i got them numerous pieces were damaged some beyond repair, very frusytrating!! For me it was worth the additional cost of the box of 6, hope this helps
https://www.calculator.net/square-footage-calculator.html Nice little and *fun online calculator which will also calculate $ per job.
Are you installing over unfinished drywall? Good to go. If you have popcorn-Uh-Oh! Better research this. If you have old popcorn up there, that' a Big Red Flag because of possible Asbestos. As I say, some research first. So, with air compressor and brad or finish nail gun, you nail into the rabbet or tongue...Also, battery powered nail guns available! Without buying these nail tools or have air compressor, U can install with construction adhesive and finish nails (hammer-time) or drywall screws, pre-drilling tiny holes to accept the screws, for instance, will prevent splits...but this method adds blemishes to each board face.
One box covers approximately 21 square feet, so you would need approximately three boxes. However, the exact amount would depend on a variety of factors.
One piece would cover approximately 3.5 square feet, so a box would cover approximately 21 square feet.
Yes, this can be used for ceilings.
